@Jan Edwinssen please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

I'll fix this one myself, but please keep it in mind for future cuts 👍

Good work @Jan Edwinssen, but when the source image is small or low quality, as it probably was here, it's best to cut it in 180x180 instead of 250x250, where the larger sources spotlights its poor quality more 😉

@Tony13, this is cropped only marginally closer to the head, plus it contains some snow. If you want your cuts to be added to the megapack, I urge you to follow the steps in my previous post.

I had the real name fix running on my save on my laptop, when the new update came out before i updated it again it changed the Brazilian team names to FLA for example but I managed to get it updated to the latest version and all was fine. Japan/Germany teams were filled with real players etc

I have since moved my save from my laptop to my PC, downloaded all the updates put all the same files on to the machine and moved over my save.

Brazilian teams are all back to the FLA, COR versions and Germany/Japan national teams are greyed out players. Is there a way to fix this?

Looks like you may not have actually installed all the files from this download in all the required folder.

Can you first make sure your folders look the same as the ones in the screenshots in the main post? If you think this is the case and it's still not working, drop us screenshots of these folders in here so I can see what might be the matter 👍

Why go with a picture from 2022 rather than 2024?

It got automatically marked as completed after the uploading of the update pack earlier today, since an image had been added for him. I've re-opened it. Do keep in mind that we have no way of knowing when an image was taken, unless the requester tells us of its relevance…

Given the sheer amount of pending images and the size of your request packs, I would suggest try to cut at least some of them. For those which don't need the collar nudged, all you need is to crop them to an area around the face, put them through remove.bg and finish them in 250x250 😉

Also, as already suggested just a few days ago, please @ me or another moderator if you want to ask a question or want action to be taken, given how fast the forum moves.

We want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:

@43692927 For future requests, can you please provide the full-size image without the background removed?

@Romics, having had the time to check some of the images in your packs, most of them contain some snow:

Care should be taken to avoid snow on cuts as much as possible. This short and easy-to-understand video shows a good method of how to quickly spot and clean snow. Apart from snow in the edges of the cut as displayed in this video, some cuts include loose pixels detached from the head, especially around the chin and ears. Special care should be taken to remove these pixels if they are not part of the cut as they are very evident in-game on a dark skin.

Here's a more recent video of the process:

Did you use an AI image enlarger perchance @Snipe2irt? Do avoid doing so because the eventual cut will look overly sharpened…

Thanks for the heads-up @kurovski, but I have no plans for further releases to this file.

You can very easily edit it yourself in your file by opening the Competitions and other Fixes.lnc file with Notepad, navigating to the section for Brazil, and making the changes that you want, which will be save-game compatible 😉

We want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:

This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.

@Tony13  Can you provide us with the original source images of the rejected cuts without the background removed so that we can cut them accordingly?

If you want to give them another go yourself, I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.

If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

We've already told you several times to crop cuts closer to the chin, nudging the collar up if need be @malman. Cuts as dark as this should also be brightened. Please take note of the guidelines and the feedback you're being given before uploading any more images. If something isn't clear, just ask 👍

@biavva, we've already pointed out that all cuts must have a collar. You've ignored that, so I'll reject all your cuts which don't.

At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

@leoleng93, it's getting tiring repeating the same things. I admire your dedication and commitment, but images like this have a bit of snow and could do with being brightened. Please take more care before uploading your packs.
