I think @tv_capper is referring to this bit:
It's a site display issue, I suspect, because the image will show in-game. I'll be sure to re-add it in 2026.08, so that it can appear in this area of the site 👍

@the137man, this isn't a very good cut. Can you use the upload image function to provide us with the original source image without the background removed?
#885246 Home thread for the FM26 Cut-Out Megapack - 2026.07 OUT NOW [17/06/2026]
mons
Update 2026.07 is now available for download.
Containing 5,023 cut-outs, it takes the total amount of cut-outs in the megapack to 551,200.
Before downloading, please make sure to refer to this thread.
If you have any issues with the megapack, please use the technical support thread and check the installation tutorials and FAQs before posting your query 👍

@Rodrigo Fiúza, can you use the upload image function to provide us with the original source image without the background removed? There is snow and artifacts around the head, and it's easier to cut from scratch than to clean it.
#885228 Daniel Banjaqui
mons
@Rivozz, good effort, but this cut has a fair bit of snow.
Snow is the colour from the background of the cut which was not totally removed. It is often white (hence ‘snow’) but it can be other colours. It can often be easily removed by putting the cut through remove.bg.
Here's a video on how you can easily remove any remaining snow thereafter within Photoshop:
I'll fix this myself too, but please keep this in mind for future cuts 👍

Essentially the same as the current cut, which is not too old, so not worth cutting again.

There is very little which irritates me more than this. I'm doing this in my free time, so don't hassle me. I hope to release it very soon, time permitting.

@Santoz, this image and several other in this pack have clearly been enhanced using AI. Avoid doing so in the future. Using an AI image enlarger just “guesses” what certain pixels should look like when you make the image larger, and the result looks blurry/out of focus on certain details, with unrealistically smoothened skin, and unnatural looking hair/beard/eye/teeth details.
If the original source is small, it should be cut in 180x180. If it's too small, it shouldn't be cut at all.

What's that got to do with the cut-out forum??
#885002 William Mineiro

@Rodrigo Fiúza, we want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
At the same time, we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. Since in some sources like presumably this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
Here's a video of the process on how to nudge the collar upwards:

@Rodrigo Fiúza For future cuts, keep in mind that the face should be straight-on, rather than slanting or at angle; i.e. the eyes are ideally in a straight line and parallel to the top or bottom of the cut.

@Rodrigo Fiúza Brightening darker images like this one always looks better in-game. The easiest way is to go to this tab in Photoshop:
and tweak the brightness slider.
There is also a Photoshop action file, available for download here, which contains a lot of common actions, including one for brightening, for ease of use 😉

@Bucknuts1711, I believe we've already told you that we want all cuts to have collars within 2-3 pixels of the chin, nudging it up when necessary, as per the guidelines.
#884998 Filip Bokan

No idea what this means 😕

@Kirukato Kashiarikutomorukimi, use a bit of common sense, man. These are quite clearly too small to be worth cutting.

@Nordian, these sources are ideal to cut. Why don't you consider giving them a go yourself instead of depending on others to do it? You'd get to see them in your game much more quickly this way 😉
This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.
I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.
Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.
If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

FAO @piczulz and @Cipier, since you both seem to have started cutting some World Cup images.
This year, the sources seem to be quite dark and have half the face in the shade. For me, images like this are not improvements, particularly when the current megapack cut is recent, the guy has a similar look and the lighting is better. The source can be fixed by brightening and/or adding saturation, and by reducing the yellow color balance, and by increasing the gamma level (all actions in the set available for download in this post, so they're not that time-consuimg), but it's all a load of extra work which is imo unnecessary to replace cuts that don't need replacing in the first place. With this in mind, I would strongly advise to checking the current cut before cutting World Cup sources.

@bennytee Good cut, but please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
I'll fix this one myself, but please keep it in mind for any future cuts you may do 👍

@bennytee, I appreciate that sources for lower league players might not be available, but it's better to have no cut than one showing showing just one side of the face.
#884887 Michael Fashanu

@rmbrasil, we need collars in our cuts, as we've told you several times before already.
#884841 Adam Markhiev

@ABBFH, face isn't large enough in these to lead to an improvement. Also, please use the upload multiple function, when you have multiple images to request.
#884833 Matt Rizzetta
mons
Not large enough and essentially identical to the current cut, so not an improvement.
#884832 Edvin Pasagic
mons
@Kirukato Kashiarikutomorukimi, for future reference, when you have a lot of images to upload, then you should upload them as a pack instead of individually and save the both of us some time.
You can also upload up to 50 images per pack instead of just a maximum of 3 when done individually.
