I kinda have this thing working now, but cannot get rid of the bidstack ads.  The old instructions don't have the right file destinations and I cannot find them.  Anyone have ideas?  I'm so close.

I also replied to your personal message. 

Here's the location for the bidstack_enabled.xml file:

C:\Users\[YOUR NAME]\AppData\Local\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2024\Preferences\version 1

I can't get the patch to work on FM24.  I haven't played FM since ‘20 and the file destinations are clearly a bit different.  I’m not familiar enough with the game to follow the posts above.  Can anyone spell it out for me like the in initial instructions?

 

@Vicious One has really great instructions below, but they are incomplete.  Sorry I don't know these things myself.

 

I got it to work again. I made a stupid mistake by just downloading v1.4 only (I looked at the size and thought it would contain the complete pack) I now downloaded all the packs and installed them according the instructions on the first page 1 by 1. Cleared the cache en reloaded the skin, worked.

Seems like the option is gone from the menu. If you know what you're doing, you can add the picture manually in the graphics folder and putting the appropriate line in a config.xml.

 

Edit: Note that the syntax has changed to the below (note the “r-” now):

 

<record from="<ID>" to="graphics/pictures/person/r-<ID>/portrait"/> 

 

Thnx! Good to know that the “R” is displayed as a capital letter ingame in de bar, but should be configured as a lowercase letter in the config file. Didn't work with a capital letter for me.

The simatchviewer_uncompressed folder goes into C:/program files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/FM24/data folder, but what about the existing .fmf files in this 'data' folder which are already there. Can they cause a conflict/overrule with the placed new folder from the pack? Should some of these existing .fmf files be deleted/archived somewhere?

I'm a little confused. FM 2019 is live, 3D kits/kitpacks are been made since but the downloads still state "3D Kits 18/19 packs for FM18" Do these kits work on both FM 2018 and FM 2019 or...? (is the same template being used in both games?) Which kits/kitpacks do work in FM 2019?

As mentioned earlier in this topic: the Spanish Liga 3D kits 18/19 in the download pack topic on Susie are not working ingame The Spanish Liga and French Ligue 1 kits would really make the game complete (all top comp. covered)

The Spanish La Liga kits don't work in the game (anymore)

I tried to delete the background color boxes by just removing them from the code but that didn't work Then I decided to edit the RGB codes for the background boxes. The code now looks like this:

In game, I now have a light green background box for good attributes and an orange background box for excellent attributes. This way attributes stand out more.... but hey... I'm also still curious how I can show the attributes texts only, without the boxes. Secret of the chef.

In line with Yurka's comment, I adjusted the player attributes color scheme a little for myself (no background colors and other font colors), and I was wondering which file I have to edit to show the cut out photo of a player combined with the team logo on the players profile page (so without the team shirt or the signature. Also, I would like to position the team logo more to the left of the cut out picture)

As said, I like the skin a lot and gonna use it, but these are just personal preferences I also liked on the Steklo and Vitrex skins in previous years.

Nice work! Will the transparency of the skin be adjustable? (so the background pictures will come more to life in the skin)
