Isn't that THE BIGGEST con in the game? Attributes being irrelevant?

The simple answer to your question is no. If an AI manager has 20's everywhere shouldn't he be dominating?

If you alter him to have all 20s using FMRTE then change his CA to 2,000 instead of 200 then his abilities will hold at 20. Now here's the interesting bit...

In a full detail League he will be just as useless as all the other managers but will dominate in a Division that you are NOT in that has "minimum detail" level. So clearly in a "minimum detail" level game his "current ability" becomes ultimately important and the biggest overriding factor.

I did what you said and the results were impressive. In two seasons with Real Madrid, the AI manager lost only three times in La Liga, won the domestic treble (Super Cup, La Liga, Spanish Cup) first, then won the quadruple (Super Cup, La Liga, Spanish Cup, Champions League) in his second. The AI manager's win ratio was an impressive 94%.

I was thinking about making an AI manager in the game that could challenge me for trophies, etc. But I want to know how to make them great? I've used things like FMRTE and Editor Data to put all of there stats to 20, and there abilities to 200, but that isn't working. Does anybody know how to make the AI manager do well using a program?

Thanks in advance.

Madrid, Bayern, United, City, Chelsea or PSG.

Thanks, I'll go with Madrid because I wanted to start in Spain and they have a great squad and a good consistency in reaching the latter stages of the Champions League in recent seasons.

For those who don't know, the Jose Mourinho challenge is when you win the Champions League with five clubs from five different countries - England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France.

Where do you think would be a good place to start? I want to go somewhere where I'll be immediate continental contenders, and also have a respectable transfer budget.

Thanks in advance.

I've used FMEditor before to alter and create manager profiles, but I've never been able to change my own. I was wondering if there was a program, of function within FMEditor, that would allow me to do so. For example: change my history from the default settings to one which involved winning two European Cups.
