Hi,

I've got a new laptop and transferred all my FM files over and got them running ok. But my regens in my current save have extremely different hair compared to what they had on the same save on my last laptop. Does anyone know what determines what hair each regen gets?

I don't even know if this is the cause but I was just guessing maybe the game was getting confused with all the extra teams, but I do have the English league down to level 11 data added. I have an online game with my brother and we're in our 3rd season and only 6 out of the 20 prem teams have been drawn into the FA Cup 3rd round. It's pretty strange. I didn't realise at the time but looking back at the FA Cup History in the 2nd season only 12 or so Prem teams got drawn into the 3rd round, but the 1st season was normal.

On further looking, 20 teams from League 1 or below should go into round 3 through qualifying from round 2. But there are about 35 teams from League 1 or below in round 3. Some teams like Charlton for example have been relegated and are in league 1, but automatically qualified for the 3rd round. Also Millwall for example have always been in League 1, but from season 2 onwards they have been automatically put in the 3rd round without having to go through the 1st and 2nd round. So the game is entering extra League 1 or below teams into the 3rd round automatically and some of the Prem teams are missing out all together. As I said i'm not 100% sure its anything to do with the added data but I've never had this problem before even though I had the lower league data on another save, and 6-7 seasons on everything is normal. Maybe other people have had the same problem and not even realised?

I've Just went on holiday to the next season to see if it would fix but it hasn't, only 5-6 Prem teams enter again. I also went forward again after removing every league apart from the prem and that didn't help either. So if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. If not then we may have to start again. What English lower league databases does everyone else use?

Hi Bantams, great skin. Is there anyway you could tell me how to change the background colours of the attribute boxes? I like the boxes just prefer them to be red for poor, blue for ok, green for good and dark green for very good attributes. If you could help it would be much appreciated, Thanks.

3. Pretty obvious but need too know what to edit in order to the logo, picture and other things from overlapping.

4. Again just want to make the info smaller so it fits in the boxes properly.

5. Just need to make the attributes smaller so they fit into the box without having to scroll.

6. And lastly just want the information to fit into the box properly.

I know some of these changes are pretty pointless but i would really appreciate if you take any of you spare time to help me with these as your skin just make the game a whole lot better in my opinion, and i have a weird obsession of needing things too look perfect.. If some of these are not possible or will take too much then no worries, thanks for even having a look for me.

Hi

I'll try to tell you what are the xml you have to edit....but is not easy to explain you....

1. You have to search "match pre match panel" in panels folder.
Find

<container class="vertical_adaptive_container" inset="0" offset="0" gap="10">

<container default_height="-3">

and try to change the value "-3" for "-4" (the number will increase the top left of the panel and diminish the box with the green grass; maybe, however, the green grass will be unformatted; in order to adjust it you have to edit match8 picture (you will find it in graphics/boxes/flut/match8);

2. This is weird, because in my game the font colour is okay. Try the following:
go to "match team stats table overview1" and change the colour and/or the font in the following code

3. Because of your resolution my suggestion is to delete the honours panel (if you will do that the other problems will be fixed).
You just have to go to "team container information overview panel.xml", and delete the following code

Thanks, I've got 1 and 3 working, but I'm sorry if I'm missing something obvious but for number 2 what exactly do i need to change to change the colour of the font? Or I could just change the colour of the background. I still have the files from 1.7 update so what files would i need to copy over to get the background back to black on the team stats and the match panel like in 1.7?

Hi Flut sorry to be such a pain. I've just downloaded the updated skin and I'm loving the new additions, but I have found some small problems i'm wondering you could help me with if you get the time? In the pictures below I've highlighted the problem area with a red box.

1. Before the match on the match analysis screen where it says each teams status and key man it a little too big for my resolution. Again could you tell me what panel i need to edit to make it smaller?

2. When you're in game watching a match do you know how to edit the font colour so it isn't the same colour as the background?

Star by the first one (of the panel - line 2 of the xml) (use try and error method). I think it will be enough but if necessary, change the other values of the container eight in the xml

Hi flut, Thanks for the help, I got it fixed perfectly after reading the readme properly, thanks! Also sorry for being a pain and it's ok if you cant, but I don't know if you could help me with the last 2 little things that aren't major problems just little annoyances. Could you tell me, (and I apologise if this is already explained in the readme) which panels i need to edit to fix the goalkeepers name from being hidden on the tactics menu (see picture)

Hi Flut, fantastic skin! But I have a quick question I hope you can help me with. With it zoomed out at 75% on 1366x768 resolution it fits just as well as it would do on 100% on 1920x1080 resolution. But on the main Attributes panel it cuts off 'Technique' off the Technical column and 'Work rate' off the mental column (see picture) My question is what exact xml file to i have to open to change the size of this exact panel to make it fit? if you can help it would be much appreciated, thanks.
