I have got a new lap top and I have transferred all of my Graphics packs etc to a new Sports Interactive folder on the new lap top.

I have downloaded Steam and FM22 and when I load the game it does not find my existing save or any of my graphics packs. This is despite me taking over 4 hours to copy the folder across 

I am sure it is something simple that I have missed ...can anyone help with this please

I am getting a new lap top in next few days so this might be the time to try this again. 

I am sort of reluctant to delete the other kit packs as I have a lot 

Just noticed the Editor files are like this in my files…..could this be the issue?

However when I think it’s starting to go over my head a bit I tend to just leave things as they are .

I usually just update the packs and have no issues at all. I just wanted to use this pack as it would be a total update to some of my out of date kits 

I have the 3D kits and 2D kits in different folders as shown in the screenshot above.

I assume this would not make a difference as I have them in the same folder at present and it works. Like I say though I have very basic knowledge of file structure

I could try this but that would mean I have no 3D kits in my game surely?

I would love to try and get this sorted. I am a bloody novice and clearly I am doing something obviously wrong ;-)

So I am simply removing my SS Kits folder from the kits folder and replacing it with this new pack……..this is causing it to crash

Just to add I am wary of sharing screenshots so if there is any security risk at all please feel free to delete them

I will be getting a new lap top soon

Its used for work like basic excel, word and Outlook

The only game I play is FM. Is it worth paying extra for the NvIDIA graphics card? I usually buy Lenovo as I know the lay out etc and the lap top has to fold to almost flat as I use a large monitor via HDMI.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I have followed your instructions above but again it crashes my game,…….it makes beeping noises and then goes to the start screen, but without the options menu to start the game.

Not to worry I will stick to the ones I have. Thanks for your input though

I decided to download this and replace all my old SS kit files. So I moved the old folder out of the SIFolder I have set up.

I downloaded this new pack and put it in my kits folder as usual. 

It did not work , infact it caused my game to crash and I was unable to reload my save or start FM again as it kept crashing

Then of course I removed the new pack and replaced it with my old SS kit pack and the game is up and running again.

Its not a massive deal but I guess I would like the newer kits ……any ideas what I may have done wrong?

There used to be a page where I could see what facepacks I needed to add to stay up to date. It showed me the packs I have downloaded and which ones were new.

I cant seem to locate this page anymore…….can anyone help?

Hi, Is there a problem with the Editor this year?

I like to have all of my matches kicking off at midday as the graphics are better. When the floodlights are involved it is harder for me to pick up the ball in the gameplay. It is a bit glitch.

So I use the Editor to change the KO times . It’s a bit of a drawn out process but for me it is worth it.

However lately I am struggling to do this effectively. Some games change to the new KO time but a lot do not. This is despite me following the exact same process that I used to.

Would appreciate any guidance on this or anyone to point me in the right direction to investigate this further.

Does anyone have any idea if this can be done , both for an existing save or a new save.

Its bad enough that VAR is ruining my real football match day experience without it spoiling FM for me ;-)

I am in the middle (4th Season) of a Uruguayan league save. I installed the name fix before I started the game and it all worked great until a few days ago.

The Brazilian teams have now all gone back to their abbreviated names. Gremio = GRE for example.

Is there any reason why this would happen? Has there been an update and would this cause thus to happen?

I do this as it helps my graphics run smoothly if there are no games under floodlights 

So I set earlier KO times. I have followed the guide on this forum on the Advanced rules section in the Editor, but for some reason this year I cant seem to find the TV games. 

Can anyone help.

Found a tool called bit torrent ….will this work? Is it safe?

I will delete it as soon as I have finished using it……I am determined to get this up and running ;-)

I have managed to get the install manager files downloaded but not the actual facepack.

I think the link you have above is the actual tool software.

I do not have torrent software….as I use this site to do my downloads to winrar. For some reason I am unable to do this with the facepacks file.

I am going to have to come back to this later as heading out. Thanks for your input

OK so I think I have downloaded the installer correctly but the other file downloads  to s Megasync file. I have no idea how to extract this. My attempt to do this is shown here

I might get a chance over the weekend to have a look at this. Thanks for the offer but I really need to learn how to do all of this for myself I think.

I used to struggle with it all, facepacks, the name fixes etc but I can now manage to do these tasks myself. 

This one does seem a tad more complex but I will give it a go when I get more time. Thanks for the offer. 

For a novice like me, that appears to be more difficult than the full blown route ;-)

I might have to watch that video again to see if I can attempt to install that software as this is the first time I have ever considered going back to last years game.

We do so much to add realism to the game, kits, player faces, stadiums, logos, badges etc and then they give us Regens like this.

Is it just me or are they dreadful this year. I mean they do look like cartoon characters.
