I remember that! Goalkeeper: 3, Defence: 1, Midfield: 2, Attack: 2! Haha! Also Kevin Toms' Football Manager on the Spectrum. There used to be a Dutch game called Voetbal 3D which I loved. You could bounce the ball on the player's head from one end of the pitch to the other and not get tackled before scoring.

Football Director was great

i still have a boxed copy of the original Champ Manager for the Amiga 1200, the one with 4 leagues and made up player names, shame i have no idea on which house move my Amiga was chucked away!!

I checked a couple of the names and it seems they're Valencia youngsters and they do have cut-outs in the megapack.

Just checked my Valencia squad and yes half the kids are there, must be a config issue

Ya but playing on PC and Ipad are two different matters. I've read from a few people that it's possible to get the license fix to work but I can't for the life of me find any tutorial.

I know that, I was saying I have both, PC fully loaded, IPad has no real names

I would say mid table is what I expect this season and with the lack of any real investment and players leaving that would be satisfactory I suppose

Solid appointment, but safe and steady.

is there a financial issue looming, seems like little investment.

championship is the hardest league in Europe to escape from, lots of historically big clubs, needs an owner to gamble

until we gambled on Bielsa, we were looking at 20 years or more in the lower leagues

Ouch that's sad then having just forked out 22 Euros to get the game and spending hours trying to move graphics. Names are psychologically essential. Not sure why I read somewhere it would be possible if the ipad was jail broke.

I have exactly the same, graphics, skin etc, can’t do name fix

my PC version with Flut skin is much better

It would be great if the sounds were updated either officially or via a mod. The default sounds are really poor, no wonder no one listens to them and listens to music or whatever. If the sounds were better, would more people use them? There needs to be discernible differences between different levels of matches, say Premier League compared to league Two in England for example.

Years ago there was a good sound pack with specific crowd chants and chants of “Sack the Board” when you were doing badly and “The referee's a w**ker” when the ref made a decision. Sadly it doesn't work with later versions of FM.

There is a match sounds mod with chants and sounds that works on 21, think it was on fmscout

you can closed this thread. i found the error. I had to uninstall and reinstall fm so that the original simatchviewer.fmf is up to date again. since then the adboard display also works.

no need to do that, just goto steam and verify the game files
