Let's say I download and install the FM 24 paid update today, start new save. As I like to have multiple saves, next week I will want to start another save, so I'll download the newer update and start my next save. If I want to go back to the first save, will it still work? As the editor files used for this will be gone

If I start my fresh new save now do I still need to do changes in 2400 folder or just in 2430 is enough?

Do you think your fix could have anything with my game crashing on certain date? I started a Wolfsburg save and it always crashing on June 18th 2024. Going for holiday doesn't help as it crashes anyway. I don't use any custom leagues, just custom graphics and your fix.

I'm trying to understand how it really works and it would be great if you could clarify one thing for me:

I will apply the fix now, then start a new save and keep playing it. Then, when the next final update arrives, I will install the next version of your fix. Will the save that I started today be still working without any issues then? I ask because when the final update comes I'll start another save, but will still want to be able to come back to the today's save from time to time.

Do I understand correctly that the moment a save is created the game doesn't bother about the editor files from your fix as they are already saved within the save?

Basically what I'm trying to find out is that if applying the new fix after a game's update causes any issues to the previously started save.

That's great to hear, really, as I was planning to wait (again) for the last version of your file before starting my save!

Just from curiosity - why sometimes it's better to start a new save after updating your files and sometimes it's not really needed? Is it because the last minor update is going to include only small data changes for China in which case the files are not overwritten?

There will be one more data update from SI once the Chinese transfer window is closed, so within a month I think. Are you sure no further update from your side will be needed then?

One last question - if I update the files now, then start a new save, and when the final update will be live in a few weeks, it's the same situation, right? I will just update your files again and there will be only the extremely minor things missing? I just wasn't sure if it's okay to start my long term save now or better wait until the very final patch is out.

My concern was the fact that your fix contains the club name changes file, Ajax file, etc., which require starting new game before applying. And I was afraid that when 22.4 appears it will make the club names back to the fake ones. But now I finally understand that if I already have my save started on 22.3 and your 22.3 fix in place, then SI 22.4 update doesn't matter to my save at all.

I don't care about the Chinese and Russian transfers at all, all I need is:

• the first winter update with January transfers
• to be sure that when I start my long term save on 22.3 with your 22.3 fix, I can go on with the save without any issues for the next couple of months

So I really just wanted to be sure that when 22.4 is out it won't wreck my save in any way.

I'd rather avoid this and install your 22.4 when it is out, but that means I'd have to wait with starting my save until official SI 22.4 is out, right? This would mean another 2-3 weeks of waiting… 😢

Or maybe it is ok to start my save on 22.3 with your 22.3 fix, and when SI 22.4 update is out I'd have to just install your 22.4 update? Would it have any impact on my save started on 22.3?

What happens if I start my long term save on 22.3, and when the final 22.4 update is out I won't update my game with your fix for 22.4? Will I still have real German national team, club names, etc. on my save? Or it will be fake again?
I mean, is there any point to wait for the very final 22.4 update and only then use your real names fix for 22.4, or I am safe to start my game on 22.3 with your fix for 22.3?

First of all thank you for the great job you are doing for us, really appreciate!

If there are two seperate SI updates as it was last year, will you be also releasing two updates of Real names fix? Or just for the main winter update that comes first? I've been waiting for the winter update before I'll start my long term save and I hope I won't have to wait until March 😢 So my question is if for the last SI update we will also need to have your release.
