It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

I used the link here - https://sortitoutsi.net/graphics/style/1/cut-out-player-faces I downloaded the file twice now, the second time the file loaded some player faces, but still missing about 2/3 of the players. I'm just downloading it another time, and the file size is 8.3GB before extraction

I'm downloading from the website direct as a premium member, but the download keeps stopping around half way through suggesting some change at the server.
Is this an issue for anyone else?

This file was created through Winrar so downloading Winrar for Mac should work in theory

Put the faces images from the update pack (not the folder!) into your faces folder. If you do it correctly, you will be prompted to overwrite some files, which you should do.
Same process goes for the iconfaces.

Hi guys, I tried to download the Face Megapack 5 or 6 times, but it always failed around the 1GB point. I've looked through the forums, and it's certainly not a new problem, but I can't find anything like an answer about what to do. I'm sorry if this is a long ago solved issue, but I'm new to this site, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

There aren't any journalists added to the default database and there aren't any images of journalists in this pack, so it's got nothing to do with FM.
Is this for FM17 please? And do you have any other facepacks installed besides this one?

I am using Windows and Chrome.
It stopped first time last night at 292 MB. Because I tried about 20 times in fm2016 with no joy I didn't bother again and tried to download using a file downloading program.
This time it actually worked until the very end. When I checked it in the morning it gave me a error message saying something like there was a change in the remote server.
The file I downloaded says it is 8.28 GB, however I am not sure if it actually is here are some screens of the file and its properties:

I am up for trying again, but seriously, I cannot understand for the life of me why anyone would try to host a 8GB+ file for http download through your browser.
A torrent is surely the best way of doing this? I mean I can see literally no reason against it, I know you are obviously trying to protect your annual subscription fee and make it have some kind of value which is fine, but if someone really wanted to share your torrent with non paying members they could just make it themselves using the file as easily as sharing a official torrent. No one has bothered to that yet which suggests no one is really that bothered about it.
Personally I was very upset as I only subscribed to access the files and I cant access them because of the delivery method.
Please think about a torrent for your larger packs as this really is frustrating. Thank you.

I have logged this with SI and following their guidance when removing the graphics folder and playing with the default graphics folder the kit clash goes away.
Can this be linked to the megapacks????

Yeah FM17. I only have the "Essential" Downloads from this site (so Kits, your Facepack and Logos).
The 3D faces of the journalists are not shown, that's what i meant. I'm gonna get a screenshot later and post it here.

First of all, a torrent is already available and has been for many years now
Secondly, having had a look at your screenshots, I think you may not need to do the above. The file you downloaded presently has an extension of .rar.fmdownload. Delete the .fmdownload part from the filename, so that the last part of the filename is .rar
This should allow you to extract the file with Winrar.

This file only adds faces for players and has nothing at all to do with kits, logos or any other graphics whatsoever. I would be extremely surprised if this somehow affects kits, to the extent that I'd put down my mortgage on it. Do you have any kits and/or editor data files installed perchance? Could be caused by them.
Please do and I may be able to assist. However, this file does not add any journalists' faces for a number of reasons, so I doubt it's related to this megapack. But I'm happy to help you maybe solve the issue

Scroll down this screen until you come to the torrent tabs and download the 9.0 version. To be fully up-to-date, you would still have to download the 9.01 update pack.
I disagree that it's been a problem for years, but when downloading such a large file, it's somewhat dependent on the stability of your internet connection and the site servers so it's inevitable that there will be people who have issues downloading it...
