Do we just follow the same process then? dlete the stuff in the folders even from the old version and should be okay?

is the new update 20.2.0 a new database version or game version? should this work fine with it if already installed?

The version of the database will remain 20.1.0 till SI release the winter transfer update. The game version is something completely different and will be updated from time to time when SI releases patches or hotfixes. It is currently 20.1.4 and any future changes to the game version will not affect the database version.

In effect, if your game version is 20.1.4 and your database version is 20.1.0, you're perfectly in order.

Does this update work with hotfixes? with 20.1.3 and 20.1.4 being released already, when i start a new game, the database dropdown box in the top right corner only contains 20.1.0 which is the original database. I have no options of picking 20.1.4.
