@Ttggfr, I've given it a tweak 👍 I can't see much wrong with the ears, though, they look quite similar to the source image.

This actually was not that hard to spot for me lmao, though it seemed like I am just picky.

I think you might have used the previously bad cut as your source so it would be hard to notice. (The original bad cut also got the same issue on the problematic ear parts)

You may first want to adjust the contrast of the original source and cut it. From my cut, it does not seem like parts of the ear were removed, but from yours I have indicated the problematic areas.

While the right ear part does not seem like that noticeable, the left ear seemed more obvious, as you can clearly see that when you put it on a black background.

Try comparing my 180 and your 250 cut and you will see what I mean. (For the ear part)

Your cut, latest, with the problematic areas indicated

Also you may also check if parts of both ears were wrongly removed (or seemed so due to the poor lighting and contrast of the source)

@mons a very good attempt I would say but check the (your right, the player's left) neck of the cut on a black background and you would realize something needs to be done

@mons attempted to fix the existing cut but seems like if I forcefully made it to 250 it would get way to blurry, so I made it into 180.

@77david54  not a bad cut but did you just adjust the brightness of the source? now the left side of the cut seems to be too bright. at a minor white outline on the top of the hair.

@mons not like the cut is completely unusable but might treat is as a placeholder for the meantime.

@gustavo roumec Again, not a bad cut, but please refer to the tutorial videos provided by the forum:
https://sortitoutsi.net/content/360/guide-to-cutting-and-assorted-hints-tips-and-assistance

For this cut, check the areas near both ears, and the white outline around the hair.

Also, every cut MUST include parts of the collar. I was in fact guilty of this as well until very recently, and the technique is actually not that hard should you try so you may want to abide by the rules of this site and add the collar lmao. (Though I am not sure why the collar is a must, but you have to stick to and respect the traditions here lmao)

@gustavo roumec I would say that this is not the worst cut I have ever seen but there is certainly lots of room for improvement.

First off, you may want to check the edges of the ear, seems like you had left a lot of stuff to be cut. Put your cut into a black background and you would see what I mean, especially on the right ear of the player.

Secondly, there is still a white outline on the hair that you may want to take a look into, again, a black background would help you see it better.

Last off, size of the cut should be in 180x180 or 250x250, depending on how big the source is. In this case, I personally would consider this as a 180px but it really depends on your judgment.

refer to the following link for tutorial videos, you definitely would find them useful:

@TonyBones  I believe that cuts should either be 180px or 250px so 150 is too small. Did you have the original source or did you just upload the pic from globalsportsarchive?

@MIXzaaaa  what is with all those edges and stuff, not to mention it is very blurry

Also, you could have used a better source even though if you want to use a source that after he went to Carlisle.

@mons Please reject this one

Was there anyway I can get the full size pic like you did?

Thanks

@Mateee  may we have the original source for this please? The cut seems quite blurry for a 250px and I wanted to see if I can improve this cut with the original source, thanks

It is not humanly possible for me to see every single comment on the forum. There was a 23 minute period, at a time when I was asleep, between SSP rejecting it and rekooner cutting it; I simply wasn't aware of it.

Keep in mind that completed does not automatically mean it'll be added to the megapack, but just that it's a cut that will be taken into consideration. At first glance, there's nothing much wrong with it. When I compare it with the present megapack cut, I will then come to a decision if it's an improvement or not, and whether it is to be added to the megapack or not. I haven't done that yet (I think - I had 700 images to check yesterday, so I might have done it and forgotten about it), but again at a glance, I'm inclined to agree with SSP's assessment now that I've seen his comment.

I've rejected the two newly-requested sources for the same reason, in fact.

Understood your difficulties on reading every single thing so I would tag you, or if you want, other staff members so that issues could be addressed.

Thanks for the heads up on the completed status, I always thought it would be automatically included in the next pack :p

If you feel tired on fixing issues and stuff, may be just get enough rest before responding, I do not expect guaranteed responses within 24 hrs lol. Health and mental status always comes first.

If I had slowly(or quickly) becoming a bothersome issue let me know through private message :p

@mons so the source was rejected due to it was being in poor quality but the cutout resulted from a poor source, which I would say required improvement, gets approved????

For example this cut-out is better:

This discussion was useless. A useless waste of time. @Ttggfr  probably really likes adding unnecessary comments like this.

Now you are just getting overly defensive over your choices.

What I saw was just a cutout that may fall short of the standards that I was taught when I first joined the site, and therefore hoping staff like @mons to fix it and that's it. Do I just come here and criticize every single cut of yours just to piss you off? NO, and I simply acted hoping for the pack to include the best of cuts.

You had provided reasons such as the source is so bad, but how are we suppose to understand when no source has been uploaded? Simply be polite and may be upload the original source, if it was so bad that is beyond fixing then I think none of us would have any further comment considering we all understand sometimes only bad sources are available.

May be you are having a bad day at office and therefore not in the mood of taking criticism, but the way you reacted actually would prove to piss others off.

The discussion was useless? At least I understand how bad you are at taking criticisms through it and others may learn how to improve BOTH their cutting skills and communication skills through how to act NOT like this.

I definitely am not a saint and would make mistakes and so does everyone, when you got criticized, no need to be overly defensive, simply check whether you are on the wrong before reacting.

I hope you would become more civilized and understand what your previous comments showed the kind of person you are/were. Before that, this would be the last response I have for you.

Looks much better now 👏

Just as an FYI, there are two possible tweaks you can do for green in a face. Either you add a cut's hue (xtrl+u)  or you use the action displayed in the below video to remove it, depending on the kind of ‘green’ in the cut:

Actually tried but my technique is so bad on this I rather would not upload that
