Well well well. That's how you shut the league champions down.
Cruised to victory I thought. Dropped to third place. Next up Bayern München...
Schalke didm't gave us a chance. Reaching the semis of the cup sin't bad, but we really had a great chance this year given that Bayern and Dortmund were out.
End of my, rather poor, stint. Is it just me, or doesn't it feels like I always play a lot of the top teams?! This time 4 out the top 5, and Dortmund. Boo hoo.
You know things are not perfect when you try out your third tactic in under two months time. But a win is a win.
Saved our face with two late goals. They winning 2-0 at half time was such a joke, we ran them over right, left and center. But right now we're in a position where we need a dozen chances to score.
Bayern rested a lot of key players. That didn't help us. We were never in the game. They scored four goals in 15 minutes, and it could have been a lot more.
Should have won this one. Akpom with another pair of gaols.
I really needed that! Changed tactics, I never felt too comfortable with the attacking 4-4-2 e've been playing.
Akpom, who just decided to represent Nigeria is a real gem.

Horrible first half, really good second half. Schalke is underperforming in the league (10th) and has just recently payed over 10 M Euro to bring Unai Emery in as the new boss.
Added 130 caps for Germany to the team next season. As I the only strikers I see staying next season are Sanogo and Ba we might as well start with old Lukas here.
