It's quite funny, in a bad way, that our 40 year old left winger has been our best center midfielder this season.

Giggs hasn't really been a left winger for about 6 years.

Wahey, awesome. Olympiacos were dreadful yes, but considering our form this is a very good win. The players looked up for it and played well and that made me really happy to see

Absolutely buzzing after that, so many good performers out there tonight, the players actually looked like they cared!

Huge.

We weren't shit, but yeah, it was a pretty uninspiring performance against a very mediocre side.

Still, I'll take a win.

Lulz. We played well, the players looked like they cared, we did the job. So how were we shit?

Just remembered that we'll probably be playing Buttner in the first leg, oh crap.

Alright. You played well, yet Olympiacos were still in the game pretty much throughout.

What does that say?

Fair play to United, they did what they had to do on the night, but they shouldn't have had to be in this position in the first place.

This clearly won't be a turning point or anything and it goes without saying that if they mess up the first leg in their quarter final tie like they did in this round, whoever they're up against, they've had it.

Looking forward to the draw!

That we sat back towards the end in protecting our lead, maybe a bit too deep at times, but the overall performance was still a good one, especially in going forward.

And we've not had that much this season!

Yeah exactly, compared to 90% of games this season we were much better. Of course Olympiacos were in the game throughout because they had a 2-0 lead and we had to commit men forward. Ultimately though the players looked like they cared for a change and thats the main thing.

I dont even care who we get in the quarters because no matter who we get we will be seen as underdogs and will probably be comfortably knocked out. But at least we're still in it and still got another two games to get geared up and excited for seeing as the league has been a complete write off.

Fair play for qualifying but Id be worried about the quaters. All the teams left can do some serious damage to you.

Any one else think Valencia really should've been taken off after his eye swelled up like a mother fucker?

Also, any idea how long RVP is out?

Seen somewhere he should be fit for the derby, not been confirmed though I don't think.

I'd be happy with Dortmund or Atletico.

Well, not happy, we'll still probably lose, but Dortmund have shit load of injuries and Lewandowski is suspended for the first leg, while Atletico could still be in the title race and don't really have the depth to compete in both.

Yeah another knock there could have done some real damage.

He strangely played better after getting banged up, too.

You got your wish.

If they go through I'll be amazed. Doubly so if they then follow it up with a home defeat to someone in the relegation zone.

PSG v Chelsea has the hallmarks of a decent tie.
