Pretty happy to see more Welbeck, even though RVP hit some form against Olympiakos.

True. The Olympiakos game aside, Van Persie has been dire for about a month, and Welbeck/Hernandez/Kagawa all merit game time, especially Welbeck.

It isn't as big a blow this season as Welbeck has looked far better in front of goal.

however we also had our worst spell during December/January when RVP was out injured.

We had other injuries too, though, including Rooney. Plus, when he returned, our form didn't even remotely pick up.

Bebe's scored 7 in his last 10 games in the Portuguese league, dragging his team out of the relegation zone.

Bring him back.

Good for him. I want him to have a career so badly. Just not with us obviously. I feel the same about alot of our failures

Both us and Real Madrid went for him, there must be something there. Some of those goals were absolute pearlers as well.

United fans must be desperate for Chelsea to win it....right?

Wouldn't say I was "desperate" for Chelsea to win anything.

But they're the lesser of three evils I suppose.

I think it's shameful to ever want the team you support to lose. You support the success of your team, not the failure of others ffs.

Any fan who wants their own team to lose is a prick.

^ Agree in general but there are circumstances where it's understandable.

When we had that wanker Kean in charge here, if somebody had said to me at any point "If you lose your next 3 (or however many) games, he'll get sacked", I would have snapped their hands off.

That sort of mentality seems to suggest that the fans care more about their rivals failing than their own side doing well. I could never root against Arsenal, my natural reactions would allow me too. Pretty sad to hear it from United fans going into a Manchester derby.

You'll get fans like that at every club.

I know that's the KL response, but whatever.

Obviously on some level it's understandable but yeah I could never want us to lose, especially to City. Also yes I would definitely prefer Chelsea to win it, as much as I don't like them either and will hate to see Jose's smug face, it's definitely better than City or Liverpool winning it. I did want Arsenal but as per they've bottled it

I think I cared more about the Capital Cup Final than I did for Newcastle v Hull that weekend. I did feel a bit pathetic admittedly.

Yeah I go to Uni in Sunderland and as a result live there now. walking across the bridge the day after the final and seeing the massive "Haway the Lads" SAFC sign hanging from it was a miserable yet funny sight.

Hmm.

The photo, by the way, is The Chosen One banner. Duncan Castles has tweeted the same.
