As one gets older and has less patience does the full mode still rule the roost or has FMC come to the forefront?

Pretty much this.
I've always preferred the full version of the game due to the difference - more leagues to choose at one team, more staff members allowed (e.g. scouts) because I believe FMC has them limited or at least they did on the last game, I don't give a fuck about the press/tunnel conferences due to them being repetitive and boring.

Starting to see alot of people playing on FMC on SI forum.

That, and the Classic skin is absolutely awful.

As Crane says, it's very blocky.
I understand it's a streamlined version of FM full, but it doesn't mean that it has to be visually inferior to full mode. The full mode skin has advanced so much in recent years, just because Classic mode is streamlined it doesn't mean the skin has to be poor in comparison to full.
I don't think there's even a dark mode option is there? There isn't much support for Classic mode either I don't think.

Well obviously the aim isn't to create something inferior. It is to create something simplified and more graphical. It's designec for the more casual user.
The blocks around the attributes, for example are designed to enable the user to quickly gauge a players ability via the colour coding.
There is now a dark skin, availble via the Steam Workshop.

The flat skin that full FM implements is very modern, very up to date with current graphic design trends. I think FMC would benefit from having a skin similar to that. The current one is sadly inferior in terms of design, and very off putting when you see how nice full FM looks.
I'm agree with having the simplicity for the casual user, but it needs to keep up to date with current trends. Blocky just isn't nice sadly.
Ricey
I would perhaps agree with you in past versions, but this versions skin I updated to be flat and more modern.
Anyway, each to their own, I'm obviously biased but value the feedback to improve future versions.
Sam
I do agree that the Classic skin for FM15 is an improvement on 14, when I reload a game on FMC I see it's more flat than it was on FM14, but I think it's still a bit too bright. In general I was always a fan of FM05-07, when it was more green.
But yeah, with FMC I find everything is very packed in, strong on the eyes and bright as I said above. I definitely agree that FMC should be more simplified for the more casual player, that should be reflected in the design somewhat. However I think it should retain the cleanliness of full FM, which has a lot more 'air', space to breathe and isn't so strong on the eyes.
I'm glad there's an FMC dark skin alternative, good job, I'll have to check it out.

I wouldn't mind getting back into FM a little, but as soon as I load up a game I get stuck with what I wish to do. Classic mode appeals because of the less bloat and it's streamlined approach. While I haven't played full mode FM since maybe 2012 and feel it may be a tad OTT for anyone that isn't dedicated fully. I'm at the crossroads.

I like the FMC mode more this year than I have done previously., You can test your tactics for full mode and you can play a lot of season very quickly.
