Andros Townsend is actually good for England. Gets in and around the goal, and almost hits it too well.

Yeah he was good, think everyone did their bit in the second half and overall a decent performance and result.

Unbeaten since the world cup.

Starting to improve for sure, but i still don't see us carrying it into a major tournement.

Defenders: Ryan Bertrand, Gary Cahill, Nathaniel Clyne, Kieran Gibbs, Phil Jagielka, Phil Jones & Chris Smalling..

Midfielders: Ross Barkley, Fabian Delph, Jordan Henderson, Adam Lallana, Ryan Mason, James Milner, Raheem Sterling, Andros Townsend, Theo Walcott & Jack Wilshere.

Forwards: Charlie Austin, Wayne Rooney, Jamie Vardy & Danny Welbeck.

Jamie Vardy? Really? Also I don't like Young, but surely he should be in there over either Townsend or Walcott.

Townsend always plays well for England - regardless of his shite form for Spurs.

I'd pick Vardy over Welbeck at the moment. Confidence is up, form is up. Though they both benefit from the U21 tournament taking the better options (for once!) in Kane, Ings and Berahino.

Without being biased i fail to see why Lallana should be in ahead of Walcott.

Depends where he's playing - Walcott is good through the middle but a waste of a player out wide.

What an awful game so far, shite on the pitch and other than the above chant now and again the atmosphere is crap too.

Its only a friendly. The game next sunday is obviously more important which is why Clyne and Walcott haven't started.

People should be working their bollocks of trying to get in that team, not wondering around without a care in the world.

England players rarely give a shit nowadays though, don't know why anyone would expect them to do anything other than "wondering around without a care in the world."

Henderson, Wilshere and Delph. Sad that that's the best we can do nowadays, although I suppose Carrick would improve it a bit if he were available.

Providing they work well together i don't care how good they may be individually, look at the superstar trio of Scholes, Lampard and Gerrard.
