Just a tip: make sure any personal saved databases that you wish to take preference are alphabetically later. The game seems to load hierarchically. I named mine 'zzzzz' so it's last and as such takes preference over sortitoutsi's and the 50 other edits I have saved. It's rectified a lot of issues for me where I've wanted my change to take preference over someone else's (it's not the answer to everything and I'm not guaranteeing it will sort this but it's definitely worth doing in general, especially when there's two conflicting changes)

Why can you not just change his profile in the editor to non playing role? Therefore this person would not be missing in game?

I have done this on my edited data update file however because I use this live data update it over rides and removes him from the game if I start a new file...

If he was not retired on this live data update and I were too run my edited data file (where he is a coach) along side it he is then in game and also the live data update is in use?

It doesnt seem right that he should just be removed from game when he can be quite easily changed to a non playing role in the editor if you apply it on this live data update?

This player has been retired from the database but not moved to a non playing role in game. He is now the first team coach at Mansfield. Please assign Karl Hawley to First Team Coach.
