Spurs are close to signing Sneijder, apparantly.

Although....

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas still does not plan to make any new signings after watching his side being held to a 0-0 draw by Stoke.

They've been on about him not signing a new contract for a while now, I think Rafa gave a press conference a couple of weeks back saying he wouldn't be surprised if Lampard and Cole both leave in the summer, or something very similar.

If he goes, Lampard will be a very good signing for somebody. Might head over to the States though, or somewhere.

I'd put my money on Lampard being in LA this time next year.

I'll take both those bets.

The MLS season is over at this time of year, he'll be in London with his family for Christmas.

Bild are now also reporting Lewandowski is close to agreeing a summer move to United. £18M.

An amazing striker, but we don't need him, surely?

More than likely just a load of shit, but according to several of the papers, Russian side Anhzi triggered Leo Messi's £205M release clause, He was turned them down though obviously. Sun

I read another funny rumour yesterday that Real Madrid were going to sell Ronaldo and use the money to buy Messi.

Milan are getting ready to bid for Balotelli once Pato and Robinho are sold.

Just imagine if Messi actually went to Anzhi, would be mental

The Russian club wasn't specified in the original "source", the Anzhi stuff is speculation. Could have been someone like Zenit as well, and some of the Moscow clubs have wealthy backers who might have been interested in making a deal like that.

Messi would never leave Barcelona at this stage of his career though, no matter who was bidding.

If Mancini can't handle Balotelli, what makes Allegri think he can?

Allegri is not in charge of transfers at Milan.

Stapleface wants Balotelli, that means Uncle Fester wants Balotelli. Allegri will just have deal with it.

Birmingham City acting chairman Peter Pannu has confirmed that Liverpool are in talks with goalkeeper Jack Butland.

The highly-rated keeper is being touted by the Merseyside club as a replacement for Pepe Reina, as Goal.com exclusively revealed earlier this month.

With the Blues struggling financially since their relegation from the Premier League, they may be forced to sell some of their most prized assests in order to keep afloat.

And acting chairman at St. Andrews Peter Pannu has confirmed that Liverpool are interested in the young goalkeeper, however they're not the only club who are keen on the England international.

He told the Birmingham Mail: "I understand there are talks with Liverpool, I understand that Everton might be interested, Southampton gave me an offer in the past, I know not whether they want him."

“What I can say is that - and I might be blasted for this by the fans - but no one is for sale and everyone is available. As in any club.

“Give me a £15 million offer for Jack Butland, can I say no?

“I have rejected £6 million from Southampton [in the summer] but I rejected it when our finances were OK.

“As the time is ticking, I might not be able to reject it if I get something similar.”

For fucks sake Butland you absolute Bellwhiff. But for £15mill they are welcome to him, forever over paying for English players no matter who there manager is it seems. Mugs.
