For fucks sake Butland you absolute Bellwhiff. But for £15mill they are welcome to him, forever over paying for English players no matter who there manager is it seems. Mugs.

He's an Everton fan, seriously hope he comes here.

It says he'd probably accept 6m?

Butland for 6m i'd be delighted with. It'd be interesting to see what happened though. Maybe loan him back out till end of season and then offload Pepe in the summer?

No way, Butland is at least 3 years away from being a regular for Liverpool I would think, and for Reina to leave straight away would be folly.

A lot of our players are 3 years away from being Liverpool regulars but it hasn't stopped them playing, admittedly we have been forced into playing them though

I'd hate to see Reina leave, as since we've got him he's been our best keeper for god knows how long, feels safe with him at the back but he's been poor for a while now and if we can get a good amount of cash for him I wouldn't mind him going. Plus Butland would be a very good investment, could potentially be here for 10+ years.

Make up your mind! Butland is shit btw. Typical overrated young English player that will be strangled and unable to fulfill his potential.

Was a time when people said that about Hart though, not all English players end up the same.

Do you guys read or just decide to post without even giving it a read? I've clearly said I'd hate to see him leave as he's been a real good keper but then go on to explain that he's been shit for over a year now so if we can get a a fair sum I wouldn't be to disappointing.

Learn to read before trying to be clever.

I said I wouldn't mind him going if we got a good amount of money for him. It's exactly the same as Arsenal fans not wanting VP to go, but saying for the money they got in his last year of his contract they weren't that disappointed in him going...

The Times are saying Joleon Lescott has been deemed 'surplus to requirements' and will probably leave and that United have approached Everton about Leighton Baines

What's happened to Lescott? He was first choice alongside Kompany last season and now he can't even get in the team ahead of a car salesman.

I read in the Sunday Times a few weeks ago that Txiki Begiristain and Soriano were planning to revamp the sqad and get rid of a few. Lescott was mentioned and I think Milner and possibly Barry.

Something about buying 'mid-range' players and developing them around a core of world class players. Used Yaya Toure as an example, How Barcelona bought him fairly cheaply to fit around Xavi, Messi and Iniesta.

I'd imagine the likes of Scott Sinclair, Jack Rodwell and Javi Garcia would be classed as 'mid-range' players? They're all decent Premier League footballers but you're not going to win the league without vastly superior players alongside them. Anyway, Garcia's been a bit hit-and-miss and the English pair have barely played.

I think City would be better off with a new manager rather than a squad overhall, to be honest. With the side they have they shouldn't be seven points behind United at this stage.

Dynamo Kyiv have signed Andreas Granqvist from Genoa for €6.8M.

Really not a fan of this recent trend of Swedish national team players signing in Eastern Europe.

Mancini's never been entirely convinced, and not without reason, he's terrible on the ball, so between his two major mistakes against QPR last year and the howlers against Ajax, he seems to have made his choice. To be fair to Mancini, though, Nastasic has been brilliant all season and Kolo's played the best football I've seen from him since his Arsenal peak.

Yeah, the Spanish duo have supposedly been horrified at some of the contracts handed out in the Hughes-era and are planning to sell them/renegotiate contracts and buy in cheaper replacements from around the world (Benat, Isco, Paulinho).

That's the point though, you have a solid group of players - for Barça it was Yaya, Keita etc - backed up with a group of world-class players - for Barça: Iniesta, Xavi, Messi etc. God knows what the Scott Sinclair signing was all about, it made sense if he was going to be picked occasionally but he's not even trusted for substitute appearances anymore. He's been entirely pointless and it's not even his fault. Rodwell and Garcia have had no luck with injuries.

I wouldn't rule that out the way things are going at the moment. Mancini's position has severely weakened since the summer.

I think that cements my point. Hart is not as good as people say. People in the media saying he is the best in the world, absolute joke. Not even top 10. Good keeper, not outstanding.
