Very impressive win for Inter in the Derby d'Italia.

It was yeah, didn't see it coming, De Boer needed it though even at this stage.

New season, same old Roma unfortunately! Lost tonight to Fiorentina, chance to take advantage of Juve's defeat wasted.

Aye, he's absolutely on fire. To think he'd been a sub regularly until lately, hadn't he? He did always seem to pop up with goals whenever he played to be fair.

Poor showing from Roma on Saturday night, was a pretty comfortable 1-0 for Juve. They're gonna win it again unfortunately.

The old/current one was so iconic, I just have no idea why they'd change it - never mind to that!

I expected Napoli to win tonight, but not like that!

14 goals and 4 assists in Dries Mertens last 10 games. Unreal.

Can't stop Dzeko from overtaking him though at the top of the scoring charts

But yeah, Mertens is on fire, Napoli are breathtaking when they click. Just lacking a bit of consistency, like the home draw with Palermo the other week.

Huge win at Roma. That save by Reina almost gave me a heart attack at the end.

Defeats to Lazio and Napoli in the space of 4 days, doesn't get much worse than that.

Classic Gennaro Gattuso in Serie B this season. He's manager of Pisa who could get relegated despite having the best defence in the entire league.

That's crazy. Empoli meanwhile have only scored 17 goals all season in Serie A yet will almost certainly stay up.

What did you make of the two Napoli v Juve games this week? I watched the one on Sunday and Napoli were really impressive. They might not have created many clear chances but it's extremely hard to do that against a defensive Juve. Then I know they got knocked out last night but it was another positive result.

I'm not so sure about Empoli to be honest. They've only got 1 point in the last 9 games and if they keep that up and Crotone can get another win from somewhere then the gap will be down to 2 points.

For the first game I felt the chances were there to beat them, maybe not clear cut chances but still chances which is about as good as it gets against Juve these days. I think Mertens hit the post and had a shot straight at Buffon from inside the box and on another day Hamsik probably puts one of those sliced shots from the edge of the box in the bottom corner. Obviously he made up for it with the goal but in the end a draw only really suited Juve. Overall a decent performance but just didn't have enough to win.

I didn't watch the second game I only saw a few highlights but it's nice to know we can still beat Juve, even if Neto played a large part in that and that they still went through. Just the league to focus on now and hopefully 2nd place

I expected Empoli to beat Pescara and Crotone to lose against Inter, after the results though it's on now yep! I hope Crotone stay up, got a good save with them going on FM at the moment haha.

Another good result for you last night, feels like the teams that end 2nd/3rd (i.e. Roma and Napoli, whichever order) will end with a record amount of points for those positions. Juve won't be caught though unfortunately.

It's almost like Empoli and Crotone have just realised that getting relegated would be a bad idea.

Winning successively at Fiorentina and Milan (Juve for example lost both of these fixtures!) is some going for Empoli, considering before these two games they could barely score a goal.

The Milan clubs, though......you think they might be getting a bit better and then they have results like they both have this weekend (and recent games too) to remind you how poor they really are. Would like to see Milan become a great team again, not too bothered about Inter haha.

Imagine how the Crotone players feel, they win at Samp and probably head off the pitch thinking they've closed the gap to Empoli only to see that they actually won at Milan.

Believe it or not I actually used to like Inter when I was a kid, mainly just because of their kit and the fact they had some of my all time favourite players in their squad. Not too bothered now, as long as Napoli stay up there I'm not that worried who finishes where. If I had to pick one of the other clubs to stay up there it would probably be Roma to be honest.

Well I'm flying out to Rome tomorrow morning, I've never actually been to the city but the main reason I'm going is to see Totti's final ever game in a Roma shirt on Sunday. Bold move going alone haha but: Totti's last game + first time seeing Roma live + never been to the city = has to be done!

How on earth did you manage to get a ticket for that? Not a bad choice for a first game though!

Used a site called Viagogo, it's not got the best reputation in the ticket world but Listicket (the official ticket site Serie A clubs seem to use) kept crashing on the day....Viagogo is like a platform for third parties to sell tickets but I managed to track down a few people who've used them a few times for Roma/Serie A games without any problem. Got my e-ticket delivered last week but yeah I guess I won't fully relax until I'm in the stadium haha.

Got back from Rome yesterday morning, had an incredible time at the game on Sunday (and in Rome overall, what an amazing city). Brilliant atmosphere, especially when Totti came on and after the second and third goals, the place was packed out. A real privilege to have been there and seen Totti in the flesh. Stayed behind for well over an hour after the game when Totti did his lap around the stadium and his speech - plenty of men and women of all ages crying near me, it certainly was an emotional occasion.

Spalletti left this morning so not sure who'll come in now. If Di Francesco could come in and do a good job, then great. He'll be aware of the expectation levels and pressure after being part of the title winning team, but I wouldn't want it to be too soon for him.

Surprised nobody mentioned Crotone's great escape last Sunday; rooted to the relegation zone for 36 weeks excluding the first game of the season, only two points from their first ten games, upwards of fifteen points from safety in February and won six of their last nine games (only losing to Juventus) and overtook Empoli to survive relegation. Outstanding work from Davide Nicola to turn it around.

Huge season for Napoli and Roma in particular this season. Juventus possibly not as strong as they were and with the Milan clubs looking like they might be on the rise again over the next few years, this might be the best chance at a title.

Poor start for Roma yesterday. Didn't manage to see any of it but, despite hitting the post 3 times, I don't think the collapse from the 70th minute onwards would have happened in previous seasons.....hopefully just a blip as I want Di Francesco to do well and hope the job isn't too much for him.

I watched it and you could just see the late Inter goals coming from a mile off. It was almost like hitting the woodwork 3 times made Roma feel a little frustrated and they lost concentration a bit.

Watched both Torino vs Sassuolo and Napoli vs Atalanta earlier and I think we might have 2 candidates for goal of the season already. Worth checking out the Belotti and Zielinski goals.
