If that happened on Fifa...

"And down on the touchline to Geoff Shreeves"

"Yes Alan I can tell you from pitchside that he has injured his leg, although it doesn't seem too bad and hes going to try and carry on"

"Thanks for the update Geoff"

But seriously though, lets hope he recovers well.

That injury looks as nasty at the one Jharal Yow Yeh suffered.

Eventually ended his career.

Well, can't say it's not been coming. He bought the club with literally no money at all - still wonder how he pulled that off. His so called company was worth €700 or something.

Roma with their 13th draw of the season today.

Someone should remind them that Italy has been using the three point system since 1994.

The only reason I know that is from the trivia questions on the loading screens from Fifa 09!

Wonder if they will beat Inter's 18 draws back in 2003-04 by the end of the season.

Doubt it, although Empoli probably will.

Empoli are absolutely destroying Napoli at half time.

Napoli are 3-0 down.

He's a pretty good goal poacher, would get 15 or so a season if he played every game but he's had quite a lot of injuries in the past.

I'd have kept him at Roma (not just because of yesterday...), often you see Roma's front 3 and it's something stupid like 'Iturbe--Ljajic--Gervinho' with no proper striker, at least Destro is one of those. Jury still out on Doumbia.

Don't know what makes you say that. If anything, I think the league is starting to mend itself and is beginning to get better again.

If you were going to fix a match, you wouldn't just kick it in your own net.

Had you bet on Torino or something?

Yeah, thats just one own goal. Also players get stupid red cards all the time, no big deal at all.

Juve

Nah, before the game I wouldn't have been too sure, with Juve playing a second-string team. (The Coppa Italia final is this Wednesday night all of a sudden!)

Sassuolo beat Milan 3-2 with a Berardi hattick and Milan ended with 9 men.

Need to get a minimum of 4 points from Cesena tomorrow and Juve away next weekend and hope Lazio lose to Roma to set up a winner take all against Lazio on the final day.

You'll beat Cesena but would be surprised if you got anything from Juve despite their mind being elsewhere. Although could you not still lose v Juve but overtake Lazio by beating them on the final day (as long as they lose the derby), if you were on 63 points and them on 66 going into it?

Yeah we beat them earlier in the season 1-0. You're right, I think I accidentally looked at Roma's points total instead of Lazio's when I wrote that last night...

3-2 win for you tonight (sounded unconvincing though!), so the final two rounds are gonna be interesting. Rome derby is on Monday at 5pm UK time now! Forza Roma!

Unconvincing, although both Cesena goals were easily preventable. Still, its a win and 3 points! Mertens showing Benitez why he should've started against Dnipro last week with 2 goals and 1 assist.

If we do somehow beat Juve, then i'll be hoping for a draw in the Rome derby. That would leave 2nd place still possible, but it would also require a Napoli win and Roma loss on the final day.

Quite possibly - he reached 30 Serie A goals in less games than it took players like Baggio, Totti, Del Piero etc. Obviously he's not a patch on those skill or ability wise, but it still shows he's got a bright future. Only 20 too and scored all those goals playing for Sassuolo.

He's on loan from Juve but I don't think he should go back there just yet, he needs to be playing every week for now. Maybe when Tevez leaves which will probably be the end of next season.
