Problem with accepting loan offers for U18 players

Not sure if this has been asked before -- I couldn't find it -- but does anyone know why a bid for an U18 player is never actually accepted when you give your assistant (or whoever) the responsibility to do so?

A bid comes in, it goes on to say that the nominated staff member accepted the bid as per my instructions, yet it still shows up as a notification in the transfer centre and remains so forever.

The only way to get rid of the notification, as far as I can see, is to go into the transfer centre and reject the bid myself (it doesn't give me the option to accept it), effectively overruling the nominated staff member.

Is this a bug?
