1. After being promoted to the top division, I was told my stadium ( Kippermoen in Mosjøen ) did not qualify and was promptly moved to a more suitable one. Unfortunately, the "suitable" one ( Aspmyra in Bodø ) is 300km away. I assumed this was just a temporarily solution and asked the board to build a new stadium. They rejected, even though the finances should be fine for it. I then asked them to increase capacity. This they accepted. However, the stadium they end up improving is the one I was relocated to. So now my team is stuck being a Bodø club, it seems. It is not very realistic that the fans have to travel 300km to the home matches... ( or that my board can decide to improve a stadium already owned by a bigger club ). Can this be fixed somehow?

2. Annoyed at the above, I started a new game, creating a club ( GS Mosjøen ) and stadium ( GS Arena ) from scratch in the pre-editor. But now another issue appeared: I added Kippermoen as an "alternative stadium", thinking it meant backup stadium. But what happens is that the first team end up playing at Kippermoen while the reserves play at GS Arena ( which has larger capacity and all the extras, including roof ). Argh!

Is there a save editor or something out there that can fix these issues, or do I need to restart again?

FMRTE can edit the capacity of the stadium yo make it comply and do most things as per pre game editor to the stadium and a few things more

Unfortunately, these issues seem beyond the capability of even FMRTE (no option to swap stadium ID, as far as I can tell). There doesn't seem to be a setting (in any of the editors) that explain why the reserves and the first team play at different stadiums either.

this is a well known issue, but the game doesn't have a sense of distance! in one of my saves my stadium was too small to play in Europe League, so instead i played on fierce rival stadium ! That would never happen in real life, as well as 300 km travel for home game. But does your training schedule have "Travel" before every home game? That also happens, even when you play London club vs another London club they need to travel 1/3 of the day when in real life it takes 1 hour at most so you can even travel on a match day if it's not a noon game. What if you would give your club shit tones of money and then ask to build a new stadium ? Board interactions are sometimes malfunctioning, and even when you have 500 millions they will not build a stadium for let's say average 200 millions. Give them 1 billion and see where it goes. It will take few season to build it so give yourself a little bit of patience.

Hello to all. I fully recognise that this was a topic from now five years and three months ago. However, I am curious as to how it worked out or if it worked out.  AtheonX, would you care to comment? (if you are still active here, of course.)  I have always wondered why there is latitude and longitude in the FM database for many of the stadia and, yes, of course the many, many cities in which these sport clubs play. Surely that latitude and longitude data is used in the game, yes?  We all fully understand why teams like Shaktar Donetsk haven't been anywhere near their city nor their now demolished stadium. But - it makes no sense for a 2. Team/Reserves team to get the better stadium (GS Arena) and the first team plays in a lesser venue (Kippermoen).  Further, it makes very little sense that a gameplayer has zero capability during gameplay to make/adjust the simple stadium switch during gameplay – a stadium swap within one's very own club, yes!?  So, yes, gentlemen, I am curious how this worked out –  and if there are any gameplay lessons learned for the rest of us. Thank you.    Note:  Perhaps there have been significant improvments in the more recent FM 20xx versions. If so, and if anyone can definitively say, please do. Thanks.
