sortitoutsi Background and Stadium Packs
The Backgrounds Megapack was originally made up of aerial shots of stadiums taken from Google Maps and Google Earth, but is now also containing Competitions, Player and Fan Backgrounds, as well as beautiful City Images.

I'll have to look at the link as may only be working for premium members.
VP.
Are you certain its not downloading in the background as link seems ok?

Can anyone help, so i get the right file?
Saxonaitor
The club and stadium in question is Norwich United (ID 8325048) and Plantation Road (ID 8600638). The picture in question is saved under a 'teams' folder with the title of '8325048'. I've edited the XML file for it to appear as follows;
<record from="teams/8325048" to="graphics/pictures/club/8325048/background"/>
<record from="teams/8325048" to="graphics/pictures/team/8325048/background"/>
<record from="teams/8325048" to="graphics/pictures/club/8325048/logo/background/left"/>
<record from="teams/8325048" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/8600638/background"/>
<record from="teams/8325048" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/8600638/stadium"/>
I am however having no luck getting it to change within football manager, despite that code being the exact same to another team which the pack changes. I have unchecked caching and reloaded and changed the size of the photo in question to a size of other pictures within the file with still no luck. The picture in question is this;

I'm assuming it will be an easy fix as I am not experienced with this thing, but any help would be appreciated!
VP.
Try opening the picture in paint and saving it as a .png file.
Saxonaitor
Damn, that simple hey. I had seen that advice in a file but saw all the other pictures were .jpg so didn't think it would make a difference! Thanks ever so!
Qvordrup
The problem is that the picture has .JPG as its file extension. The game only shows picture with lower case letters as file extensions (.jpg or .png)
try this one (and I think you need to delete the old one first... not overwrite it):

Due to the large size of the file its very hard to host it anywhere reliably, the easiest way is to become a premium member but of course there is a cost to this I'm afraid.
Rich B
The cost isn't much and it's so worth being a premium member if you download a lot plus supporting the site as these folks work sooooo blinking hard
VP.
Thank you so much for your support. We honestly do not take a penny from your premium memberships it all goes to keeping this site running. This pack is just a very small part of it, the kit, logo, facepack, data update guys work non stop trying to make the game more enjoyable for you all and @Footygamer has in the past spent a lot of his own money to keep this place going.
I've been a member/staff here for the best part of 16 years and lots have changed over that time, yes we may not have the 'banter' (hate that word!) and active forum members like once before but I can honestly say in terms of what the site has to offer has never been better. This is down to a mixture of hard working staff and members like yourself who see this and are willing to part with a couple of quid for premium membership, once again thank you the member for your donation
Rich B
Worth every penny and more!! TBH if it wasn't for this site. I wouldn't play the game anyway near so much if at all. You improve the game tenfold. For this I cannot thank you enough.
4 years ago I was diagnosed with a rare illness/condtion. It has had me home bound and most times bed bound. So making FM so much more enjoyable has certainly helped pass the time.
Keep up the outstanding work everyone

Thank you

The defualt skin doesn't show custom backgrounds. You need this one. Let me know if it worked
TheAmazingNjut
Thanks again for your great work.
I'm having issues adding a picture into the config file. I created a new stadium (ID 98040206) for an existing team (ID 1114) using the database editor (not the in-game one). I want to assign the attached picture 1114.png to the stadium.
I put in the following lines into the xml :
<record from="1114" to="graphics/pictures/club/1114/background"/>
<record from="1114" to="graphics/pictures/team/1114/background"/>
<record from="1114" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/98040206/background"/>
<record from="1114" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/98040206/stadium"/>
I've also cleared the previous lines that used the 1114 ID.
Yet the picture doesn't show. It seems like it's something wrong with the lines I added to the xml or the picture because all other stadium pictures seem to be working.
Do you guys know what might be the problem here ?
Thanks a lot
VP.
Open the picture in paint and save as a .jpg file.

Unfortunately, I'm not too fimiliar to adding background manually. You can uplaod it here, I'll accept it and it'll be in the next update pack
Feel free to upload more backgrounds you find
