I think we'll beat them if we've got our best team available, so no more injuries between now and then.

That means that either Rooney, Van Persie, Hernandez or Vidic wil now get injured, So say the gods or Sod's Law as it's known

There was even a rare positive display from David de Gea, who responded well to his recent troubles with a succession of saves when Fulham threatened to seize the initiative.

It beggars belief.

"The Football Association fines Sir Alex Ferguson £12,000 over comments he made about an official after Manchester United's Premier League game at Spurs."

I'm waiting for the 'The FA love United' 'Oh Fergie always gets away with it' comments again.

Yet again a Man Utd fan brings this up.

12,000 is nothing. Why bother fine him? Guys like Fergie probably wipe their arse with £12,000

What I'm confused about is why Fergie's fine was 4k higher for the same offence as Allardyce, good ol' FA consistency.

Did Allardyce imply premeditated bias on the referee's part though?

Probably because Ferguson earns more money and is a bigger repeat offender? And Ferguson's comments were far worse.

But obviously Ferguson has been very harshly punished by being fined a fraction of his wages. FA conspiracy.

Ferguson was probably fined more since he's already been fined for it.

But yeah conspiracy and all that.

Ferguson should be banned for what he said... Shouldn't be able to go around saying the linesman wasn't doing his job!

By duckeggmoon | Permalink | On 20 January 2013 - 21:09 PM
No chance. I'd be surprised if he even got charged.

By chokosc | Permalink | On 20 January 2013 - 21:22 PM
Even if he had a bad game (I haven't seen it) a lot of the managers that mention it get charged. This won't be the first time Ferguson escapes any sort of punishment.

Fact.

By Number 1 | Permalink | On 20 January 2013 - 23:15 PM
Come on - he got away with coming within a few lines of punching the ref at the start of the 2nd half of the Man U-Newcastle game in December and got away with that. Like criticism of the lino is going to register on the FA's radar.

Yep definitely the only people who ever say that are Man United fans.
