It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

If you download just the latest changes file, that's all you get. You need to have the full megapack, the full 16GB+ file, which will have over 270,000 faces included in it.

No, the full pack is enough. In fact, if you have the full pack and add an update pack to it in a separate folder, then you may well end up with the graphics not displaying at all.

I'm afraid you're mistaken. The cut was produced after the latest update pack was finalized.
You can always download the cut and add him to your game by modifying the config file accordingly

Yeah I did that. So is their like a set number of days for the cut off before each update is released? Just curious and think all the staff and graphics makers do a great job, making the game much better. I've been playing it since roughly Karl-Heinze Reidle was at Liverpool.

The cut-out faces megapack hasn't been around that long, though my first version of the game was CM3 back in 1998, so it'll be around the same time, I guess!
As for the megapack, updates are generally released around every 4 weeks or when we reach around the 4,000 image mark, whichever comes the quickest. With the amount of cuts being produced by the community, it's usually around 3 weeks lately and sometimes less

the config file in the 12.16 doesnt have all the files that there faces for
e.g Charlie Allan ID:29217875 has a face but not in XML as such isnt showing in my Leeds squad

That UID was added in the 12.04 update pack, so he won't have been added to the config until then. Are you sure you're using the 12.16 config file and not the original 12.0 one? What is the config's filesize and date modified?

Have you edited the config file at all? 12.16 was released on August 17, so the date modified can't be any later than that for it to be the original file.
Also, can I see a screenshot of the section of the config file what you think the line of code for that player should appear?

Are you using Winrar to extract the file you've downloaded? What is the filesize of the file you've downloaded? Perhaps a screenshot of the error message you're getting would be helpful because it's not exactly clear what and where the issue is.

Just upgraded my membership to premium to download this pack and am unfortunately having issues with moving the folders.
The 'faces' folder moved over without any trouble but the 'icon faces' folder will not. It shows the message "The folder can't complete the operation because some data in 'sortitoutsi' can't be read or written. [Error code -36]
I am using macOS Catalina and have just installed the game via the Epic Games Launcher. I have used this pack in the past through previous versions of the game and have had no issues.

Where are you downloading this from and what is the size of the file?
First of all, before trying to extract it, how many images are there in the iconfaces folder? Could be the case that the file hasn't downloaded fully. Secondly, do you have sufficient space on your hard disk for the folder to extract? Thirdly, have you tried extracting it to a different folder?
All being said, I'm afraid that looks like an OS error rather than something to do with these files. As I'm not a Mac user, I can't really offer any particular help other than the above 'generic' guidance.
