The guy on the right is definitely not John Beresford. As the tweet says ‘Ian Broomfield receives his SCAN certificate from Paul Ward.’ 

It was tweeted by Chloe Beresford (who is John Beresford's daughter)

Unless my eyes are going funny the guy on the right is definitely not John Beresford.  Possibly the guy on the left is? 

Think thats unlikely, the certificate was given out in 2015 by the date on the tweet and the guy on the left seems to be bald, in your 2017 article he has a full head of hair

Broomfield is currently aged 70 in game, Broomfield would have been 64 when the picture was taken

I checked facebook profiles, the person holding the certificate is Paul Ward and the person in the suit is Broomfield. John Beresford looks like this and isn't in the picture.

I checked Facebook following your comment and I have to agree. The guy on the left is Paul Ward, Beresford’s daughter appears to have tweeted the wrong picture
