Dont see anyone who has used it as a defence :/

It's pretty obviously a defence, because there is literally no point mentioning it otherwise.
If you were attacking a player, lets say Young, you would say 'Ashley Young is a diver' you wouldn't then go on to say 'but other players also dive' because it looks like you're exonerating his actions by comparing them to that of his peers.
Everyone of your lot saying 'I don't see why Suarez is getting so much stick, it's not like other players don't dive' are trying to justify his actions by saying that in comparison to his peers they're not that bad.
Don't kid yourself KL.
It's also a really stupid defence, because all it means is that other people are cunts too. I don't think anyone would make the similar argument 'Well I know he killed someone, but it's not as if OTHER PEOPLE haven't murdered people to, so I mean, it's not even that bad really'.

Now tell the truth, when have i ever said anything like that?
And also, i had Crumpets.

Suarez is a dick.
And whilst he continues to act like a dick, people will call him a dick. Pointing out that other players dive does nothing except to appear like you're exonerating his actions.
Everyone knows that other players are also divers, everyone knows that Gareth Bale dived at the weekend. The only reason it's been a bigger story is because Tony Pulis kicked up a fuss about it.

What?
I just get bored of coming in this thread all the time to read tonnes of posts of people calling Suarez every name under the sun, as I imagine most other Liverpool fans do. Forgive me for wanting to divert attention to other players who are doing things just as bad.
EDIT: Case in point - on MOTD last night they laughed off Bale's dive as something funny, but then laid into Suarez about his dive. Why is one treated as a sin and the other as a bit of tomfoolery?
Fantastic

As Suarez? Not even Tom Daly has them skills.

Are you being serious? To give two easy examples, Ashley Young got booed by opposition fans for about 5 matches after he dived twice last season as well as everybody going on about it for weeks. Welbeck went down easily this season winning a penalty (which we missed) and we had at least a week of histrionics about him too.
The reason Suarez attracts more attention than the rest is because nobody does it quite like him, he adds to his divography on a weekly basis, screaming like an electrocuted human-rat as he does it.
It's not some bloody anti-Liverpool conspiracy, it's just out of all the diving pricks, you've just got the biggest one.

Carroll.
I'm not saying it's some anti-Liverpool conspiracy, just Suarez get's called up a lot more on it than other players. Oh does he really add to it on a weekly basis? Name me the last dive before Sunday's game please.
Taz.
Pretty sure there was one last month, one on the first day of the season as well. But I'm loathe to get lost in the semantics of these sort of things, there's actually debating stuff and then there's just pulling up other people for being hyperbolic.

Typical FA really. They pick and choose what they wish to punish and what they conveniently overlook, no surprises really. Had he been suspended he'd have missed the Chelsea and Arsenal games (usually 3 game ban or so for something like that), the FA couldn't have that though. Similar happened with Rooney a couple seasons ago when Clattenburg refused to punish Rooney for similar against Newcastle. Ironically he would have missed the Chelsea game too I believe had he been banned.
Yet, Ivanovic got instantly banned for 3 games last season for a similar thing.
Then people wonder why the FA cop abuse.

Actually the FA were going to act but the ref said he didn't think it merited a red card.

I'm sure the FA can overrule an official if they truly desired.

Pretty damning that.

These organisations have been "shamed", embarrassed, degraded, dishonoured, humiliated and so on and so forth, so many times in their recent history (let alone the history of time) that implying they actually had some kind of contextual pride does in fact bring shame on the word itself.
If people are unwilling to agree with my view I'm happy to present many, many examples of shame that Chelsea and England have tolerated over the years that ultimately show them to be entirely selfish organisations.
That's not to say they don't do good things as well, but to place pride or honour on a football organisation in this day and age is a pretty fruitless thing, at least for me. I enjoy football now as the blown out of proportion orgy of media, a social diphtheria that has become so out of control in its extravagance and extremism that trying to leash it just seems stupid. Trying to place control on it is akin to throwing a pebble in a cave.

If he's actually looked at that elbow and thought it was a genuine attempt to play the ball then he's a moron, if he's looked at it and seen nothing wrong then he's clearly blind. Same with Tiote's stamp btw before anybody goes off it.
He's so pro-Man Utd it's ridiculous.
