There are at least two ways to fix that 👍

First if you use one of the skins available here (I use flut skin) : https://sortitoutsi.net/forums/10/football-manager-skins

you can make the backgrounds darker by pressing this button, and press the procent :

And you can make a config by you self using this little app: https://sortitoutsi.net/content/848/fm-graphics-configurator-for-pc

just drag your teams background folder on to the app and having the dot on team backgrounds. You will properly have to move your folder outside the backgrounds folder to your graphics folder.

Right so I've followed your instructions and I now have a new config file just for my TEAMS folder - I've dragged that folder to my graphics folder - so it's out the backgrounds folder now but I still don't get the team background showing - it's still the stadiums - any ideas please

Well it sounds like you have done everything as they are supposed to be. The game reads the folders in alphabetic order, so try adding a couple of a's to the beginning of the name of the teams folder. If you use a skin you can also move the team's folder somewhere in your skin folder, that would make it show for sure as anything in the skin folder takes preference of anything in the graphics folder. 

Thanks it seems the app is creating a default location for them in the config file something like “teams” 

I tried renaming the folder so it was club so would come first but didn’t work 

im using flut so will try it there - any idea where to place it in the skin folder please 

I would personally put it in the graphics/pictures folder within the flut skin folder 👍, but it should work anywhere in the skin folder.   

Can i just delete the folders i dont want to save sdd space, or will mess up the config???

Well the short answer is yes it will mess up things to just delete folders. The one common config will still point to images that will no longer be there, and that is a problem.

But depending on what folders you want to keep, you can delete the common config and make one config for each folder you would want to keep using this app:

Only thing that can't be replicated by the app is stadium backgrounds as club background 👍

Hello guys. So, I've opened my fm21 save tonight and I've encountered a slight problem. The players backgrounds are not working and it shows a stadium background instead. Is there a possible fix for that? (The skin I use is the flutskin dark)

Well if they (the players background) worked before, you must have changed or deleted something by mistake🤷‍♂️. Best way to solve that is to download the pack and reinstall it again.   

So I had to move my Documents folder from the C drive to D because the former was somehow losing storage rapidly and I wanted to save space. I was advised that I could simply copy and paste over so long as I make a couple changes in order to redirect the My Documents and do those one or two things. 

The problem I'm having is I have the graphics folder set up like it should, and it worked on the C drive, but nothing. All I did was copy/paste transfer it but FM21 won't pick up on the logos. Or any graphics for that matter despite them being in the spots they are supposed be in.

I am unsure of where to go from here

Oh, and I also noticed my game is no longer recognizing that I had purchased the in game editor. I also confirmed (via properties) that the Documents folder is the D drive, so no issues with that.

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here. Have you done so? If yes, can you post screenshots of the same steps?

@lucash , change the user data folder in the last screenshot from Sports Interactive to Football Manager 2021. And graphics should not have the g capitalised.

So after much groaning and head smacking my computer desk, I fixed the issue. You were right, it was an issue with where to find the data. Appreciate the help!

I've tried to put a config file in each individual folder rather than one big, and everything seems to be working apart from stadium picture.

The folder “stadiumbackgrounds” need this config lines for all picture: <record from="xxxx" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/xxxx/background"/>

The folder “stadiumsinside” need this config lines for all pictures: <record from="xxxx" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/xxxx/stadium"/>

For the stadium backgrounds all you have to do is to “set” the dot in the app to backgrounds -→ stadiums and drag the folder on to the app.

For the stadium insides: same process, but you have to edit the config after you have done that . Open the config press ctrl+h and replace background with stadium and press replace all and save the config.

Done right and you will have both small and large stadium pictures in your game  👍

I think there is a problem with the file.
on the download page it is 341.92MB, but in the Mega download page the file is only 355 Ko. 

The downloaded folder contains only the config.xml file.

Only if you have used the torrent. Otherwise you are fine with full pack download and only need to download any future updates 👍 

Why can't you add them to torrent? On free mega it takes ages to download with restrictions.
