I just bought FM2022 today and am excited about setting it up. However, I have a question. I spent a lot of time on the Editor in FM2020 making changes, adding clubs and leagues, putting diacritical marks on Slavic players, etc. I was wondering if there was any way to insert all those database changes into FM2022. I'd hate to have to start all over again. If anyone knows how to do this, please let me know. Thanks!

I think you might be able to load the FM20 editor data file directly into FM22. I recommend keeping a backup of the FM20 file beforehand to be safe. If FM20>FM22 doesn't work, it should be possible for you to opening the FM20 file with the FM21 editor then saving it, and then opening the newly-edited FM21 file with the FM22 editor and saving it.
a) A lot of work has gone into adding diacritics to club, city and person names in FM22 so it might well be that some of your edits would be superfluous.
b) Some of the clubs and leagues that you have added might be added into the FM22 database already, so it's worth checking and removing any duplicate entries you have added.

OK, great. I am downloading the game now and will check on the new edits. Otherwise I will go ahead and try the solution you proposed. Thank you very much!

Some things may fail but most should be usable
I am using files going back years but they were saved in FM 21 editor for use in FM 21
Before being saved in FM 22 editor

Will move to the editor forum
