Hello,
I have created a file in the FM 2022 Pre-Game Editor which sets the start date to 2022. At the same time I made database updates which made changes to the teams in certain leagues.
Now when I start a new game and select this file I can start in 2022 as intended. The changes to the teams in the leagues were also applied, but for the year 2021/22. The year 2021/22 was apparently simulated in the background and thus the changes to the teams are not as I wanted them.
Is there any way that the change to the teams is preserved in the set year and thus the year 2021/22 is not simulated?
(For better explanation, I moved two teams that are actually in the second league to the first league in the editor. Now that I started in 2022, the two teams are back in the second league. But in the league history of the two teams I can see that the two teams were in the first league as set in 2021/22).
Thanks a lot!

Hello,
Whatever happens the 2021/2022 season will be simulated if you start with a custom start date in 2022.
If you want to play with the teams of a championship of the 2022/2023 season, you must either start the season in 2021 with the modifications you have made or use another file like mine :
