It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Guys . Im using FM2022 and i dowloaded completed face megapack for FM2022 ( 14gb pack ) and updated with sortitoutsi_cutout_megapack2022.15_changes. Today sortitoutsi released 2023.00 for FM2023 with Torrent 9.59gb. Do i need to download it or just download the small updates file (95.5mb? to continue to use FM2023 players faces in FM202 version)?

You mean you haven't downloaded the 2022.01 until 2022.14 changes? Then it would be best to just delete everything and download the 2023.00 torrent

I'm getting a data after the end of payload data message in 7-Zip with the 2023.00 file.

Same here, this is the message from 7zip. The last file it seems to have been extracting was faces/43080511.png, and the extracted directory only contains the faces subdirectory, with a size of ~1.5GB

I downloaded the 2023.00 torrent. It has 378,395 items in the faces folder and 378,397 items in the iconfaces folder. There was 1 file that was corrupt while extracting but my finger clicked too fast and I missed it, sorry.

I'm getting a “There are some data after the end of the payload data” error message on the 2023.00 rar when I right-click on the file and unpack it using 7-Zip. If I open the file and look inside the sortitoutsi folder the faces directory only appears to be about 1.65GB so although the file is 9.5GB to download the faces folder is the only sub-folder.
I downloaded the full pack. I just calculated the checksum of the file: 5b6644110230ee57a260227104baca7a. Does this match the original file on the server?

Hey. I'm having some problems with adding new faces to players. I got glitchy stuff. I re-scale the image to 180x180 png yet still having this problem. however some players seems work perfectly. I correctly added the commands in Config.xml but some are just glitchy images
BTW, I'm playing FM 16 and install the whole 8.0 megapack with their extensions

Hello, i am currently having a lot of trouble getting the facepack to work. I have tried to download both the free torrent, directly from the paid one here and even tried one of the older megapacks in case there was something wrong with the newest. The torrents i have downloaded via utorrent web.
I think the problem may be happening in the process of unpacking the .rar file.
I first tried using unarchiver on mac. When i get about halfway thru on unarchiver i start getting a lot of messages about “couldnt find or couldnt write file”. Towards the end unarchiver becomes unresponsive and quits. I end up with a folder with alot of pictures, but still incomplete. It contains less than half of those from the actual mega pack. Also no config file.
I then tried using Winzip for mac, which did not work at all. Does anyone have any tips regarding this, or have been in a similar situation?
Might be this, I'd advice just completely deleting and installing again.There is no need to resize images or to edit the config file yourself btw

The difference will include duplicates, files with wrong extensions or filenames, players who are given inexistent UIDs etc. in previous updates, which are still within the megapack itself (due to the way it's built). The amount I indicate will be the amount of lines in the config file 🙂

I suggest trying to extract it at night after a system restart to have as clean a slate and as little system resource usage as possible.
Can you try downloading now to see if the problem is still there?
And can anyone give an update on if the torrent is working or not?

Same error message comes up instantly with 7-Zip. 1.67GB of files end up in the unzipped folder.
