Can't create promotion and relegation playoffs FM10 Editor

I'm trying to reproduce the French 2009-2010 league system all the way down to the 5th tier in the FM10 editor. Basically in the 5th tier I've added promotion playoffs (there are 8 sub-divisions and all 2nd placed teams play in a one round playoff with 4 winners who are promoted, and 4 losers that get no fate) and relegation playoffs (all 8 teams who finished 13th play in a one round playout with 4 losers who are relegated and 4 winners who stay in the division) in advanced rules, however when I tested the file, the game crashed on the day the playoffs were supposed to take place.

What's even weirder is that I can easily set up both playoffs in the basic editor, but it just won't work in the advanced editor.
Can anyone help me? Thanks a lot!
