I think It is not bad to give the option to people to choose which photo they prefer (this one is older but it is of better quality than the other one). Some will prefer it to be more recent and others that the colors are better.

Fair enough, but it won't be added to the megapack because it's much older than the current cut, which is why it was rejected.
