How do you want long haired men and womens faces to be cut? A few pixels below the chin or a few pixels below the hair?

Unless it's hair down to their navel, generally we prefer to crop it just beneath the hair. If it's very long, the eventual cut might look better if it's cropped somewhere around the shoulders, for example.

Not bad, please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.

The source you've chosen isn't of the best quality and the ensuing cut lacks hair details and some sharpness. The current cut is better imo.

I would like to receive feedback on this cut.

Looks fine, but can we have the original source too and the person's UID? There is hardly any hair details at all, which will most likely be due to a source image which is cut (badly) already and not your fault, but if the current cut is recent, similar and has enough hair details, the new cut might well not be considered an improvement.

Given that the current megapack cut is good enough and that the source image has no hair details at all, it's hardly worth cutting, though you did a decent enough job. Keep in mind the below for the guidelines:

• If you are requesting an image for a person who already has a cut in the megapack, please make sure that the source you are uploading will produce an improvement. We don't consider a newer image to be automatically an improvement since we also take quality of source and cut into consideration. If the current megapack cut is recent and similar in look (check on his/her timeline before uploading an image), there is little added value in cutting another source for the person. Just because a source image is more recent than that in the MP does not automatically mean it's an improvement. It's better to have a slightly older image in the MP if it is of better quality. Ask yourself, is it really an improvement to the existing MP image? If it's the same face and hairstyle with just this season's new kit, it's probably just an alternative. Please keep in mind that we have a limited number of cutters and hundreds of thousands of images in the megapack, so we can't update them every few months or so.

The only thing I'd change is that I'd have rotated it around 5-6 degrees anti-clockwise before cropping it, so that when it is cropped, the head is not tilted slightly to our right:

So, i current use Photopea, have you a tutorial or a tip on how to rotate anti-clockwise in the Photopea?

Plenty of free online tools, such as the advanced tab on this one, for example.

More asking if someone wants to helo me out, friends with a couple of guys' who are in the game, one a coach at Notts County and hates the current photo (Tbf, looks nothing like him anymore), the second is a recruitment analyst at FC FC Midtjylland who hasn't got a photo, if I upload them, can anyone do any required edit etc? I am terrible at that kind of thing, they are both worse. Appreciate it's a bit cheeky

Well, rest assured that once you've uploaded them, sooner or later they'll be cut. 😉 So I'd suggest to go for it: you can upload them going here and clicking on the “Upload image” button on the left, then follow the guidelines you'll find there, if you don't know how to proceed. You'll just need to provide an image and select the correct ID for them.

That’s super helpful, I will get the images together, where do I find the correct ID?

You can search for the correct ID while uploading the images: in the "Game item" field you can type the names of the person you need and, once selected, the ID will be included automatically. An alternative is to find their IDs in our database, here, and then just copy them in the Game item field I said before, but it's more or less the same as the first option.

Got a couple more that I'd love to get some feedback on, although I believe these are the easy ones.

Firstly, the cutout should be in 250*250px, like the ones in your second comment. Secondly, it looks really roughly cut and there's a lot of leftover white edges. What did you use to cut the image, and can you post the original source?

I'd recommend using remove.bg to cut images if you aren't already using it.
