It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.
For those who have never used torrents, in the vast majority of cases, it's just a question of downloading the client program (a small file, less than 1MB) and then downloading the megapack torrent file (a tiny file, around 20k) and then letting the program do the job.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

To speed it up, it is recommended that you have as few programs running as possible so that the system can dedicate as many resources to the extraction as it possibly can.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Had to move the FM24 Folder directly onto the C: Drive
"C:\FM24 Data"
Everything works now, not sure how or why this has happened with FM24, like I said before, never had a problem with any of the older versions. Thanks for the advice - much appreciated.

9 hours, 47 minutes. that is how long it took to unpack in the end! will have to look at installation instructions etc tomorrow. Got the newgan facepack still to go!

I am also having issues with the face pack not working properly. Kits, logo packs, backgrounds and trophies all work fine. Had no issue downloading the file. I put the faces and icon faces files in the graphics folder. I cleared the cache and reloaded the skin and am only seeing a few faces. Not sure what is causing the issue. I've never had troubles in previous versions of the game when installing the face packs.
Any help is appreciated.

Given there's a blank space instead of the default black silhouette, I'd say you have another config file in a different folder to that shown in your screenshot of the faces folder.
You seem to have downloaded the 2024.01 update pack. If it's installed elsewhere, please remove it completely.

Hi there
Long time reader first time poster 🙂
I've never come across this issue before, I downloaded the the updated full facepack but have noticed that in the game some pictures are not showing, for example there no image for Nicky Butt at Salford. There is literally no image there, not even the black generic outline. Has anyone else noticed or experienced this? Is it something I am doing wrong?

It was the config file. There was one in my graphics folder that I moved and replaced the one that was in the faces folder. It's working now.

Just downloaded the latest update of the megapack today, had my youth intake a bit later and about one third of my newgens already have a photo. I believe those photos are from the latest update since the date of one of the photos is November 5th 2023. I haven't checked all of them but here is the ID of one of the photos which is the same as one of my newgens: 2000208305. I have no idea who this guy is but I doubt that it's my 15 year old newgen 😉

It's a known bug with the game, unfortunately, and has got nothing to do with this download 😢
In fact, that UID is of a player already in the game.

I don’t know if it’s a mac problem but when I download the file it only brings the faces folder, not the icon faces one so when I boot the game up all my players end up with blank spaces rather than the black silhouette or real face. I’ve downloaded 3 times from the website on one torrent and it never moves over.
Any advice?

Can you give us screenshots of your megapack folder, showing clearly the full path it’s located in as well as how many images are in that folder?

i think many times you had the same silly questions - the same silly solutions but i does not get it managed so far:
I tried everything with Flut Dark Skin or SAS24.NOV.
But graphic packs were not loaded at all:
all the graphics were not loaded! as you can see in the Finder screenshot : the “graphics” folder is present and the pictures in the sub folders as well.
the screen is in German language but you can see that i followed the instructions how to enable all the pictures within the sub folders.
Please advise what i maybe do wrong. thank you very much for your answers.

As a premium member, it's easier for you to delete what you have, and just download the entire 2024.01 pack from scratch.
Download the 2024.00 torrent file, and then download the 2024.01 update pack afterwards.
