@Niels Van Cauwenberge, when the source image isn't the largest or of the best quality, it's best if it's cut in 180x180 instead of 250x250.
@Roger Prat you've cropped this too far beneath the head. We want the player's face to fill the canvas for the 250px cutout, which would mean cropping the image along these red lines:
Please remember that we want all cuts to include a little bit of collar. At the same time, the ideal cut only contains 2-3 pixels beneath the chin. Since in some sources like this one, the person in the image may have a longer neck than usual, this would be quite difficult to achieve naturally.
