ok, let him have that then. thought you were talking bout europe.
Telegram Sam
Perhaps in Europe as well. I don't really have an informed opinion on that but I gather you don't either.
Ninja
You'd have to be seriously crazy to think otherwise.
JCash3000
ROFL
yeah. and so is Rodwell. And Ramsey. And Cleverley. All of them among the best in europe, having won and winning silverware by the dozen in england and europe and also enjoying success with the england national team in the world and EURO cup a.s.o..
man youre so deluded. you should recall your SUN subscription.
Eric Portapotty
In other news, Titus Bramble will leave Sunderland this season.
Jamieandhisego
Aside from the fact that Wilshere is the twice the player of both Rodwell and Cleverley, why would silverware be an indicator of a youngster's ability? Are you saying that if Mario Gotze had come through the academy a decade ago when Dortmund were in financial ruin that his ability would be worse than it is now?
JCash3000
Yes. Because he wouldnt have been able to prove it on the big stage , because Dortmund were shit at that time and some day fade and become a mediocre player maybe if he didnt make a switch to a better club.
Wilshere IS at a big club, thats the difference. And he hasnt proved nothing yet to label him one of the best young players in europe.
Tbh, apart from the UK no one really mentions him in europe when it comes to good young players.

He definitely has the potential to be one of the best midfielders in the world though
JCash3000
yeah keep on repeating the same over and over
fun, aint it?
no need for a brain there
Jamieandhisego
He was the best player on the park at the age of 18 against Barcelona at the peak of their powers. He's had two injury-plagued seasons since, and yet is still expected to be a key member of the Arsenal and England squad once he returns to full fitness. How on earth would you know more about how people talk about football on the continent, we're from different countries in Europe, you silly bugger, and we can talk now through the internet. Wilshere came second behind Balotelli for the most prestigious Under-21 award after that debut season, so he's hardly unheard of or not rated.
Jamieandhisego
That was stupid and unnecessary. His ignorance is nothing to do with his nationality.
Slashman X
Just because he has huge potential doesn't mean he's one of the current best young midfielders in Europe

Fine.
Keep the faith, pal

Why did you bold 'behind Balotelli' and 'against Barcelona' when they refute your point?
JCash3000
They dont.
Having Balotelli on top of the list/poll he mentioned doesnt make me take this list/poll seriously. Balotelli was a mediocre player at city at most. At Milan now he scores but you can be pretty sure this will dry out again next season.
Barcelona was only 2 games and Barca let it run softly in the second leg.
Carroll.

Wilshere's an excellent player, there are very few players playing his position as well as he is in world football at a similar age.
If he was exactly the same player playing for some average Spanish team with a Spanish name you lot would be wanking yourself silly over him.
Slashman X
Key words highlighted there.
It's true he has been top class in the past, and it's true he may be top class in the future but currently he's not up there with the best young footballers
Shedender
He's alright but Bigirimana is much better.
bluemoon.
Yeah, he's actually good.
The Platypus
Poppin' that Championship shit. M'Bro.
