Szczesny isn't shit, but the lack of competition certainly allowed him to get complacent. His best spell this season was probably once he returned to the side having been dropped, and he has the potential to establish himself as a goalkeeper worthy of being our number one as he's still only 23. I think it'd be beneficial to sign someone like Cesar who's experienced and offers significant competition.

Not really a transfer rumour, but apparently Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis wants to follow the Pozzo's and buy an English club, apparently he has set his sights on Crystal Palace.

Shola Ameobi is a terrific footballer, he is unfortunately injured a lot. And he struggles to play more than 70 minutes. I don't have a clue why he would leave. At a Championship club, he would be first choice but then (most likely) get injured after 3 games of the season.


We would get no transfer fee for him, and would cost a few million to properly replace.

The well known FM bargain Ruben Yttergård Jenssen is on his way to 2. Bundesliga, as Tromsø agree fee with Kaiserslautern for the player. That level should suit him (hint: overrated on FM).
