It's a known issue with FM26 - read this. We're assuming this issue will get resolved in upcoming official patches/updates.
The new players were added before FM26 was released and didn't have the right UID yet. We've started the process of mapping them to the correct person's UID.
When you have a blank space instead of a cut-out, it means there is a config file pointing to a folder in which an image with that UID is not present. This generally happens when an update pack is installed in a separate folder and not part of the overall faces folder, or there is a rogue config file somewhere. It could also be that you have somehow not downloaded the full megapack but only part of it. Search within the graphics folder for the UID of this person, and you will probably find the secondary image. Delete that folder, and it should be fine.

In line with guidance on the official SI forums, At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both. and Player Faces: These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.
As a result, the iconfaces are no longer available for download because they're not needed. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

You need to change your user data location. Simple steps on how to do so can be found here.

The torrent file includes the base megapack uploaded just before that year’s FM version is released. Any and all subsequent update packs are to be downloaded separately.

Please report this so that they can be reuploaded. Since the files are hosted outside our pages, there isn't much we can do about this unfortunately. You could try downloading the pack via torrent and get it this way.

You might have a poor internet connection or your browser might have some extensions which interrupt this download. Having loads of downloads ongoing and/or streaming may also de-prioritise this download.
Try using Google Chrome in incognito mode (or the equivalent mode for other browsers) and you should be able to resume the download from the point it was interrupted, if that happens.

Down the years, after an update pack was released, it was noted that some images included therein where of the wrong person, with a wrong extension or duplicated. Due to the way the download system is structured, these cannot be removed from the download, so there may well be a couple of hundred images’ worth of difference, depending on the version you download.
Our megapack covers 25,000 teams and it's impossible to cater for these kind of requests since players and staff get transferred or sacked or retire etc and recreating and reuploading 25,000 different smaller packs would be an impossible task. That's why we have all the images in a megapack so that everything is captured therein.
These persons do not appear in the default database for licensing reasons. This means that they only appear in your save-game because they were added via a custom file, generally the real name fix file. However, this means that their UID (which is what is used to map a person's image to the right individual) is different, and so the game cannot assign the image to them from your existing facepack.
To get them to show, you should individually download any previously available cut-out faces from here (or use the UID to find them in your existing facepack if you don't use the cut-out megapack), put them in a separate folder to your existing facepack and create a config file just for them using the method outlined in here (which works for all facepack styles, not just the cut-out megapack).

It's a licensing issue. Download this file (or the equivalent for your version of FM) to resolve it.

Hi mons, I though the original pack was a bit low quality so I replaced all of them with 2 new packs with higher quality and some new faces, hope this is ok

So I installed the cutout megapack as per the instructions, and I removed the checkmark in the “Use caching to decrease page loading times” and added a check in the “Reload skin when confirming changes in preferences”.
Now when I load the game it takes approximately 10 minutes to boot up the game, which is obviously far from ideal, and I assume not normal. I've attached screenshots of the path of my folders and my settings, but I hope someone can help me with what is causing the extremely long loading time.
Any idea what I've done wrong?

The megapack shouldn't be installed in that way. All the faces should be in one folder and one folder only.

Ah ok thank you - I'll try copying the images from the different folders and place them into the same folder. Does every config file from the different smaller folders also need to be copied?

If you still have the megapack files you downloaded, I suggest deleting everything and starting again from scratch.
The way the folders are structured, you should extract the first file and WinRar will do all the work, extracting everything from all the files.

I'm using 7zip, but do you mean extracting all 14 files at the same time and the unzipping will automatically do it correctly? I just thought that since all 14 files contain the same 2 folder names ("faces" and “icons”) it would overwrite itself each time.
But I guess i'll give it a try doing it from scratch again - thank you.

You seem to misunderstand what the files are about, and they don't actually overwrite anything at all.
If it's the original pack 2025.00, and the updates 2025.01, 2025.02,… then yes, the newer updates would overwrite the older files (if any).
However, here you're talking about 2025.00.part01, 2025.00.part02,… they're parts as its name suggests, and they together form the entire file 2025.00. This is like page1, page2,… to complete a full document. By the way, there's also information on the download page: “This file has been split into many parts because it's too large. Free file sharing sites have limits on the size of each file…”
According to your screenshot, the parts seem to be placed into separated folders, and aren't "joined" to become the whole file.

You don't need to download the whole pack, you can just get it from the most recent update pack.
You can also download fmXML (Instruction Video) which will create it automatically for you.

You should have 491,000+ images in your faces folder - is that the case? If not, you haven't the full megapack. If you think you're OK, can you make a search in the graphics folder of 85139014 (the UID of Mbappe)?
Before you take a screenshot, can you sort the results in the manner outlined below?
This can be achieved by posting the UID in the red circle, choosing the view tab via the blue circle, the details option in the black circle and making sure the folder column in the green circle is long enough to display the full path.
When you run the search, can you change the below search options?
This will help me see if there is one or more other folders in your user data folder which contains one or more other facepacks, and where that image is coming from within your files…

However, quick question, with some of the new youth players you have added e.g. Obi from united and Dowman from Arsenal, is their plans to add their faces onto the game via the cut out face updates monthly?

It's just plain English: “parts”… the file is split into 14 parts, and altogether they form the file 2025.00. Missing a part or a few parts means that the file isn't complete.
Read carefully in the description, please: “This file has been split into many parts because it's too large…” So, imagine you only download some parts? Or, which part(s) to download then? Randomly pick a number? When you think about it, It doesn't make sense this way, does it?
This is just the same as: This document has 14 pages… and if you don't have all pages, the document is incomplete, isn't it?

“…trying to do it right”, yes… so at least you need to take action. Just go ahead: If downloading a part don't work, then just download all other parts… no harm caused. You learn it on the way.
