It is going to be a little messy with the ID's changing with FM26. The plan is for these to go into a separate pack that people using our Data Update can use.

After FM26 release they will go into the main pack under whatever ID they have in game. This should be automated and not require extra work from anyone.

@bhamichaelg I previously PM'd you asking if I could add all your images in bulk but didn't get a response so for now none have been added.

Ive started doing a new player face pack with the Id numbers of the big data update. Only done 259 so far but i only started yesterday

For anyone struggling with the wonderkid/young player pack, save the downloaded faces to the “faces” sub folder of the Megapack.  Download FM XML and simply list that faces folder in the “browse" section of that program.  “Options” should be set to “faces”, and tick “All filenames are IDs”.  Then click GO!  FM XML will ask to overwrite the current config file.  Say yes, and that's it.  Takes seconds.  You'll then see the megapack faces along with the wonderkids!

In theory, that's correct. However, there will be a large percentage of users for which this will not work, and they will by then have added a bunch of images with wrong UIDs to the megapack with a config which doesn't work. That's why the wonderkids file should be installed in a completely distinct and separate folder.

Update 2025.10 is now available for download. 

It contains 4,191 new or improved images and takes the total amount of cut-outs in the megapack to 500,757 👏

Under ordinary circumstances, with a new FM version coming up, this would probably be the last update pack for this iteration of the megapack. Until we get clarity on the way forward for graphic files in FM26, we will not release the 2026.00 base pack. With a bit of luck, we can see with the release of the beta that everything is still the same and we can then crack on as normal 🙂

Secondly, many people are using the facepacks for the people added into the data update. Please note that this is a completely separate file to the megapack itself, and as such should be installed in a separate folder, to minimise any potential issues you may encounter.

With the game having skipped a year's edition, there will be two years' worth of youngsters to be added in the coming weeks, as well as all the people added in the women's side of the game. Once the game's database is available on the site, we can get cracking with adding them 🙂 The more people lend a hand, the quicker we'll get through them all 🙂

If you want images to be added, the best way to do so is to cut them yourself. You'd get to see them in your game much more quickly this way and it's never been easier to cut-out an image 😉 This is a community-led effort done for free by volunteers in their spare time, so I urge all those who wish to contribute to read the guidelines to make things easier for everyone - more info and tutorial videos on how to cut can be found in the spoiler:

At present, FM26 cannot handle multiple files with the same name. For example, if you have two files with the name "kit.png", it will not load both.

Player Faces:
These work fine. You do not need the icon files anymore, and they can cause issues with the note above. Delete them.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will notice the iconfaces are no longer available, as a result. You should also delete the iconfaces folder manually from your system too 👍

Hello, does the latest 26.0 pack contain the women's faces?

I downloaded the 2026.00 megapack and ran all the images through PNGQuant with 256 colours and metadata removed.

Everything worked fine except for these two images, which couldn’t be encoded:

Is any chance for women's facepack? I find a DF11 facepack but I don't know if I do something wrong or this facepack have photo of players in Swedish League but face like Bonmati, Puttellas - no. I will be grateful for all the graphics to Women's database - face, logos etc.

About a month ago, we uploaded a few cut-out face image packs. We completely understand that processing them takes time and that you have limited capacity — and there are indeed quite a few images in those packs!

I just wanted to kindly ask if you have an idea when they might be made active. It would be really exciting to see the most up-to-date images used in the game.

You did nothing wrong, that pack includes 5 leagues and the Liga F isn't one of them so you will have to wait a bit longer for the rest of the leagues and it's the only face pack I've seen so far that includes women.

Images are cut whenever cutters take them on. Sometimes that's minutes, sometimes that's months. It really depends on how much priority cutters give to the requested images. In the meantime, there are various tutorials on how people can cut images themselves 👍

thanks very much i know it can take time etc to do them all especially not having the id numbers until recent also. When you release it will you release it as an update like normal or will you do a separate update with just the women thanks

While I'm going to be in the minority that only want the women's face pack, there are going to be a lot that won't care for it at all.
