Kalou's still available, there's still hope.

But no. Wenger has really fucked up by not taking hold of the situation on hand. Not entirely sure of his thinking when all the sides around him have gone out and added players to strengthen, while he's done the complete opposite and let bulk players leave.

Professional Footballers' Association chief Gordon Taylor says it will be "practically impossible" for Luis Suarez to leave Liverpool this month.

Suarez, 26, has been told to train alone after seeking a move to Arsenal. "With the transfer window expiring, the difficulties of not only selling him to a competitor but also replacing him makes it practically impossible," says Taylor.

Beats paying upwards of 45 million for Suarez.

People keep going on about Suarez being worth more because he can create chances for chances for himself and others, than Higuain who is almost exclusively a poacher - we don't need those qualities of Suarez, I do believe we have the sufficient supply line.

When I first heard that price I probably would have said no, but with one week to go until the Premier League starts and very few striking options remaining it might have been our best bet.

I'd like to see us go in for Leandro Damiao if the Suarez bid fails. £22m seems like a decent price.

In my caravan I have a poster of suarez above my bed, but recently I just cant look him in the eye. Crying myself to sleep every night recently. When will this end???.....
