Struggling

Really finding the fm13 difficult. Tried playing the same formation consistently and tried changing the mentality depending on odds andin game goings on. But I just find it so hard. Got sacked with antwerp who were predicted 1st and then moved to manager less Plymouth only just saved them from relegation by goal difference. But only by replaying sod fixtures. I just keep losing. Any advice?
