Hartlepool midfielder Brad Walker scored a late equaliser to secure a draw against Blackpool. Brad Walker had put Hartlepool ahead with his first goal which was a strike from distance. Modou Cham bagged two goals for Blackpool before Walker's dramatic injury time equaliser.

Brad Walker won Hartlepool's Fan Player Of The Year award last season and was yet to score this season before today's goals. Walker's first goal was a great strike which flew in from distance. Modou Cham benefitted twice on slack defending from Hartlepool to put the away side ahead. It looked like Blackpool would be leaving with three points before Brad Walker scored another long range effort to grab a draw for Hartlepool. Hartlepool next face Plymouth in the league.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has been a revelation since his loan move from Aston Villa and grabbed his first goal after only three minutes. The England Under 18 striker lost his man from a corner and cooly nodded the visitors in front. Hepburn-Murphy then grabbed his second after he lobbed home when being played through by Brad Walker. Miles Hippolyte then secured the win for Hartlepool when he slid in at the back post after a Nelson-Addy cross. Hartlepool host Dagenham next in the league.

Just read through this story and have to say you've done a great job. I'm not playing FM this year due to lack of time to really get into it so will be enjoying others stories a lot more this season.

Risky signing with Ranger but if he doesn't cause issues then you've got a good player on your hands, especially for League 2.

I may have missed it but did you not try and get Hyde back this season after his successful loan spell last season?

Glad you are reading mate and really nice to know that you are enjoying this. Ranger was a player I decided to take a punt on but he's not featured much this season, fully expect him to start complaining soon. I tried to get Hyde back but York wanted £100k for him and we don't have that sort of money. He's played ten matches for York so far this season but hasn't found the net yet.

Oh dear, you signed the self-proclaimed "power" ranger. The guy is a class A twat and that's considering the ones we have in charge of our club.

However, he should get you some goals in League 2 on FM where he can't nearly get up to the same shit he does in real life. I do like your strike force, hope Barnes-Homer gets you plenty! Just can see a couple of them leaving before January such is the amount of forwards at your disposal!

KUTGW.

This season has got to be yours!

He's been pretty useless for me in the few matches he's played. I doubt he will be here too long to be honest with you... I've brought in way too many strikers to be honest, can see Barnes-Homer kicking off soon and wanting to leave. Thanks for the comment mate, more updates to come today.

Ranger To Leave Hartlepool When Transfer Window Re-Opens

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/P3bFnEHKpcGGhE18iltrIrN1iNb88GLQF5DJ2DZc.png

Hartlepool have announced that their infamous striker Nile Ranger will leave the club when the transfer window re-opens in January after only making four appearances for the club. Ranger joined the club from Blackpool in the Summer but will join Conference side Barrow when the transfer window re-opens.

Ranger, 25, failed to score and will still be available for Hartlepool until he joins Barrow. Ranger, 25, has had a number of disciplinary problems in his career however manager Adam Boyd has insisted that the decision to allow Ranger to leave is purely for footballing reasons. "We've brought in a lot of strikers over the Summer and unfortunately there is no longer a place for Nile in my side. Barrow have decided to sign him up and he will join them when January comes around. Until then, I expect Nile to perform to the best of his ability if I decide to pick him for the squad."

Worley Ruled Out For Three Months

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/7pGbd8uNr0wDLAKTPxMn25bSKZZJPciUBgv8D66Z.png

Hartlepool defender Harry Worley has been ruled out for three months after tearing his knee ligaments in training. Worley has been ever present in Adam Boyd's side this season and has been stand-in Captain in recent weeks.

Harry Worley has been a key figure since Adam Boyd took over at the club and has formed a good partnership this season with Jon Guthrie. Manager Adam Boyd has stated that Scott Harrison, a player who was a regular last season may get a chance due to Worley's injury: "Yes, it's definitely a chance for Scott (Scott Harrison) to come back into the side. Last season he was a key man for us but has been out of the picture this season, I just hope he can make the step up now and get his place back."

Hepburn-Murphy Delighted With Hartlepool Start

Hartlepool's on-loan striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has expressed his delight at his current form. The eighteen year old striker has scored eight goals in nine appearances for Adam Boyd's side since his loan move from Premier League side Aston Villa.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy's loan contract at the Hartlepool expires at the end of January however the youngster has not ruled out extending his stay at the club: "It's been a brilliant start at the club for me and we've been on some great form. I've always scored goals at youth level and to score in the Football League is really pleasing. My contract here is until the end of January and obviously it's up to Aston Villa but I'd definitely be open to stay here longer if they're happy with it."

Hepburn-Murphy Ruled Out For Seven Weeks

https://sortitoutsi.net/uploads/mirrored_images/j27uEEPoxYhW7vthSpOIEjuipAfy09XURu1QT2Bw.png

Hartlepool's on-loan striker Rushian Hepburn-Murphy has been ruled out for any time up to seven weeks after spraining his ankle in the side's win against York City. Hepburn-Murphy has scored eight goals in ten matches for Hartlepool so far this season.

Rushian Hepburn-Murphy will be disappointed to be ruled out, especially after such a successful start to his life at the club. Scott Fenwick, who was the side's top goalscorer last season and has scored three goals in the last two will be looking to take advantage of Hepburn-Murphy's injury. Kristian Dennis has scored four goals this season for Hartlepool so may also get a look in now after the injury to Hepburn-Murphy. Adam Boyd has announced that he will be looking to extend Hepburn-Murphy's loan contract when the January transfer window opens.

Glad to see Nile Ranger will be departing the club in the next transfer window, he's a complete waste of a wage.

You've picked up some impressive wins recently, especially the home success against your rivals Carlisle and I'm sure Newport isn't an easy place to pick up points either. KIU pal.

Yeah I'm glad to see the back of him too. He's actually not a bad player at this level but I haven't been using a target man and Barrow offered £5k so decided to let him leave. Thanks for the comment again mate, hopefully we can keep up our good form and keep you reading.

Amond finished last season as the Conference top goalscorer for Grimsby as he helped them win promotion to the Football League. Hartlepool and Morecambe could not be separated in a dull encounter at Victoria Park in a match of minimal chances. Hartlepool have now failed to win in their last three matches in all competitions.

Hartlepool and Morecambe cancelled each other out throughout in a match which was dominated by some goof defending by both sides. Trevor Carson made some good saves for Hartlepool early on whilst Scott Fenwick had an effort cleared off the line midway through the second half. Hartlepool travel to struggling Grimsby in their next league match.

Ebby Nelson-Addy Signs New Long Term Hartlepool Deal

Hartlepool midfielder Ebby Nelson-Addy has signed a new deal which will see him stay at the club until the Summer of 2019. The former Aston Villa youngster has been a key player for Adam Boyd's side since breaking into the first team fold a few months back.

Ebby Nelson-Addy looked to be on his way out of the club last season as he spent the end of the season on loan at Conference side Tranmere. Hartlepool also signed former Portsmouth centre midfielder Danny Hollands as it looked like Nelson-Addy would leave the club. However, Nelson-Addy has been on fantastic form and has dislodged Hollands out of the team and formed a great partnership in centre midfield alongside Pelly Ruddock and Brad Walker. Nelson Addy has also gone on to score three goals this season for Adam Boyd's side.
