Hi all.

I'm using these faces, but in a bit of a different way, and I'm running into a problem I can't quite figure out.

I'm playing in the 9th division of English football. So, obviously there are no real faces for even non-newgens. So, I downloaded the facepack from here and modified my config.xml to load the custom faces just for my squad. I'm not using the newgan manager at all (yet).

And this worked great! All of my players have the awesome new cutout faces, and I love it! Today, though, all of a sudden, four of my players are back to the ugly SI cartoony profile pictures. And no matter what I try, I can't seem to get them back to the nice cutout faces.

Here's what I tried to troubleshoot:

  • I went back into the config.xml file, and everything looks the same there. These four players still have rows in the config, and they look just like all of the other records.
  • I double-checked the folder where the face images sit, and all of those images are still there, and correctly referenced in the config.xml.
  • I tried clearing the cache and reloading the skin again.
  • I tried changing one of the affected rows to reference a different file. No change.

The ONLY thing that I can think of that changed is that I had to restart the game. I attached a screenshot of the relevant part of my config file. The highlighted rows are the ones that are no longer working. But as I said, nothing has changed.

Any suggestions?

That's got nothing to do with the cut-out megapack. Post here 👍

The answer is simple. Add “r-” in front of your ID's. Also watch the real thread, and you'd know the answer. https://sortitoutsi.net/content/63827/ultra-realistic-newgan-faces-ai-generated-facepack-for-football-manager

Hello guys,

I'm using a old laptop and have limited spaces to download the full cutout megapack (when i have tried this my laptop becomes very slow).

Is there a way of downloading a pack that just contains places currently playing in the UK and Ireland?

Keep up the amazing work guys.

Thanks!

We haven't developed a method on that yet, so the only way would be to manually download only the images that you want and create a custom config just for them.

Another method could be to put the megapack (and all other custom graphics, naturally) on an external hard drive.

hello I'm still having problems downloading a face pack d11_fm2024 I've tried everything.

I've moved this to here, instead of deleting it. This forum is about the cut-out faces megapack, not the DF11 pack 😕

Whatever your issue is, you need to download the complete pack from here, not the update packs you've been downloading.

Hello,

I wanted to ask you guys something, its a huge "problem" for me to be able to fully enjoy FM24

I enjoy adding/overwriting my own custom "action-style" player pictures in the game, I did that for fm19, 21,...

I know how to do that (I have the DF11 faces and updates in the right order installed, no prob), useing .png, put in the megapack folder, reload the skin,...

I've done hundreds of pics like that. Also in this game FM24, it works perfect EXCEPT for these:

French leagues: ONLY the FRENCH players pics will NOT overwrite

Dutch leagues: ONLY the DUTCH players pics will NOT overwrite

German leagues: ONLY the GERMAN players pics will NOT overwrite

I've installed the "real names fix", works fine

I've installed many of your kits, works fine

I've downloaded some skins, they all work fine

The frustating thing is: for example, in Ligue 1 every player pic can be overwritten except the french players in that league

I've looked for hours trying with different pics, looking online, restarting the game, restarting the pc,...

I've tried to change a franch ligue 1  player to another foreign club and tried again, doesn't work

I've tried deleting the pic and the player ID line in the configurator file, saving and re-adding, the default player pic always stays there (so again, even if I deleted the pic in the facepack and config file)

Hope to hear from you soon, so frustrating 🙂

grtz and thx in advance,

Without knowing your setup and what you're doing, ideally with screenshots, it's impossible to tell what the issue might be @jurgen texan.

There is, however, no way that the game is choosing only some images not to display. You've either got images from those countries in a different folder, or you haven't installed the pack or your custom images correctly.

That's too vague to be able to offer any help at all. Can you provide some screenshots?

here some screen shots for you hope you can help me out

You're using a custom database, almost certainly with custom graphics included.

Facepacks and other graphics work when the UID is fixed to a particular person, as it is in the default db. Messi's UID in your save is 7458500, as it is in mine.

This is not the case with UIDs for players added via editor data files in custom databases. These UIDs will vary depending on the nature of any other editor data files you may have, including their filename. This means that facepacks accompanying editor data files will not work or, worse, display images of the wrong people, as seems to be the case for you. The only way to correct this is to manually change all the UIDs in the config file yourself.

Hi! How long can an image be left pending before being completed or rejected? Is there some sort of queue system and very many images uploaded right now? I'm asking since I have some images pending since mid december. No pressure! It's just that I've uploaded several images in the past and usually they get reviewed relatively quick so I just want make sure everything's alright. 🙂

Cutters take on images they want to. Ideally, they are cut in the order they are requested, but we all do this in our spare time and sometimes people prefer some requests to others.

We have around 2,400 pending images, so the best way to see your requests cut is to do them yourself.

This thread contains guidelines for what we're looking for in our cuts in terms of dimensions, snow, collars, face orientation etc. and video tutorials for each element.

I would recommend using remove.bg, which is a free online tool which removes the background to an excellent standard, for free and almost instantly.

Here's a couple of videos on how to use it, one when combined with Photoshop and another using photopea.com, which is a free online app so close to Photoshop that it has the same shortcuts, layout and icons.

If you don't have Photoshop, photopea.com is the tool I would recommend to use to tweak the draft cut produced by remove.bg. It's more powerful and versatile than GIMP and other similar tools.

Thanks for the swift reply master mons! I know you do this in your spare time, but I just wanted to make sure the images weren't stuck somewhere or something since as I said you all have been speedy in the past. It's more of you being too good earlier than slow now so to speak. 😉 I'll see if I can also learn how to cut in the future.

Thanks again, have a great weekend!

First time poster. Not sure if this belongs here. Be nice.
In my game many players are still missing pictures. Even big names like De Bruyne, Martinelli and Mac Allister are blank.
I see that their IDs are in the Config file, but when I search the pic folder they're not there. I've tried to add pics manually with same IDF, but the game crashes. Do I need to make a new Config document?
Please help.

EDIT: Solved! The original download was missing nearly 100 000 faces. Don't know what happened, but a fresh downlaod fixed it.

I regularly make cut out images that are personally more satisfying, or not updated yet, and I have been doing this for a long time, and I didn't realise until yesterday that I could share them. I have a fair bit of stock, particularly of some of the players in the lower leagues of England, but I found that there seems to be a mechanism for vetting them, which prevents me from adding them consistently.
I'm just curious what this vetting mechanism is like so I can get an idea of how often I'm uploading images.

Only saw content about ‘how to make cut-outs’, that's not what I aksed, or maybe it's on another page? Gonna be great if you can point me the right direction.

I just wondering about the reviewing mechanism(like how long will my submissions pending).

I vet the images to see if they are in line with the guidelines, essentially.
