Lewis Brown // ST // Free Transfer
Lewis Brown is one hell of a striker for our level. He's only young at 20 and has decent pace and finishing for a player at this level. He has excellent potential and hopefully, he can be my main man up top for years to come.
Lucas Garcia // LW // Free Transfer
Lucas comes in after being released by Fulham. He too also has the potential to be a big-time player for us. He's good on the ball and loves to dribble past players. I'm hoping for lots of asissts this year.
Dominic Price // CB // Free Transfer
Dominic comes in from AFC Wimbledon and comes in to sure up our defence. He's good at marking and has a good jump on him meaning he can win lots of headers.
Nick Collins // RB // Loan // Swindon Town
Nick comes in late in the pre-season as a replacement for my RB. He comes in on loan for the whole season and brings in league quality straight away. He should be a decent acquisition.
Vanarama National League South
As you can see, we've done pretty darn well compared to last time out. We've played 21 games and I'm really happy with how things are going. We're scoring lots of goals, and we're not conceding TOO many for us. We seem to go on a little run of wins, then we lose a couple then we win a couple again and that's how it goes for us. We've had a big win against Havent & Waterlooville who came down last season from the Vanarama National League. We could do with turning some of those losses into either draws or wins, but things are going well.
9 WINS, 4 DRAWS, and 8 LOSSES
We are in with a shot of the playoffs, with 21 games to go, we definitely could finish in those playoff positions and have a chance of going up. We need to keep our form going though and that's the difficult bit. We lie in 9th position on 31 points, with only 5 points between us and the playoffs.
FA Cup
We did really, really well in the FA Cup this year, managing to get to the 1st Round where we eventually lost to Morecambe in a replay. The wins weren't important but the prize money was. We are in serious debt that I couldn't even hire an Assistant Manager for the first half of the season. On the way to the 1st round, we beat Sittingbourne. Hampton & Richmond & Chelmsford.
FA Trophy
We've managed to progress nicely into the FA Trophy 2nd Round after wins against Mangotsfield & Poole Town. Once again the prize money is massive and we could do with progressing further and further to help boost the coffers. I don't think we have enough quality to win the thing but who knows what the draws may bring.

Vanarama National League South
We carried on our form nicely into the second half of the season and started our ascent up the table as a result of that. We had big wins against Eastliegh, Bath & Wycombe, all who performed well in the league campaign. We had disappointing losses against Whitehawk but the other losses all came against in-form teams in Chippenham, Havent & Waterlooville & Crawley Town. At the back end of the season, we went on an 8 match unbeaten run which is ridiculous and I'm so impressed with the team and how they managed to play.
12 WINS, 4 DRAWS, and 5 LOSSES
This run of games at the back-end of the season meant that we just snuck into the playoffs by 3 points. In fact, all 3 teams that ended up on 71 points were in the playoffs. It was close. 71 points was enough and I'm ecstatic with the fact that we've improved massively this season. We drew Wealdstone in the 1st round of the Play-Offs and unfortunately that was where it ended for us. The match ended 0-0 at the end of 90 minutes and extra time meaning it was a penalty shootout to decide the winner. It's always a lottery in these situations and unfortunately, we didn't win this time.
FA Trophy
The FA Trophy was another competition that I was wanting to do really well to bring in some money to boost the coffers. We managed a really impressive win at higher-ranked team Scunthorpe United who ply their trade in the Vanarama National League. This victory set up a tie against St Albans. This was the end of our FA Trophy journey as we lost 2-1 after leading the game at half-time.

Aiden Train was voted the Vanarama National League South player of the year which is excellent news. He's definitely the first name on the team sheet.

Tim Willet // GK // Free Transfer
I needed a bit of cover at GK incase our first choice Ken Clifford went down injured and my previous back up wasn't up to much so in comes Tim. Tim is a youngster with a lot of potential so maybe one day he will become my number one.
Jake Hards // AMR // Free Transfer
Jake was released by MK Dons and is only young but he is easily my best right winger in the squad. He's an assists machine and I'm looking forward to him nailing down that position for years to come.
Max Bryon // AML // Loan // Dagenham & Redbridge
I was scouting through the loan list and Max stood out to me as a decent youngster from a league team. I needed more strength in depth at the AML position and he's become somewhat of a regular in my starting line up. He looks decent and I can't wait for him to improve. I may even try and make a move for him in the Summer.
Vanarama National League South
We've started really, really well in the league and things are looking really good. We've done our usual thing where we play in patches of good form, then we have a few games of bad form. I'm not sure how to solve this, but we definitely have more good patches than bad ones. We've picked up big wins against St Albans & Bognor Regis who are both performing well in the league! We even managed a good draw against Canvey Island who are leading the pack at the half-way stage. At the moment we are on an 11 game unbeaten run, which I owe to our defence who have bailed us out on a number of occasions. I don't expect us to continue this form for much longer as we're bound to have a dip somewhere along the way but let's hope it does for as long as possible.
10 WINS, 9 DRAWS, and 2 LOSSES
[i]We're currently in 4th position in the Vanarama National League South and are comfortably in the playoffs. We're 10 points ahead of the team who lie just outside the playoffs so we're good for now. Canvey Island lead the rest of us and have a 7 points lead from us. Things are looking good for now...
FA Trophy
Things did not go well for us in the FA Trophy this season as we were knocked out in the 3rd Qualifying Round by Hampton & Richmond in a game we totally dominated but couldn't take our chances. Always next year eh?
FA Cup
In contrast to the FA Trophy where we were knocked out in our first match, we absolutely smashed the FA Cup, and managed to reach the 2nd Round Proper where we were eventually beaten by a strong League 2 Bristol Rovers. It took them 2 legs and extra time to beat us minnows so I'm proud of how we did. It also brought in a lot of money for us which has helped decrease our debts significantly. On the way to our 2nd round defeat, we beat Street, Taunton, Stevenage, & Cambridge United. This was a good run for us minnows.

Vanarama National League South
We managed to cut down the number of draws and turn them into wins which is always a pleasing stat to have. Once again our form has been really, really strong in the backend of the season with a 7 match unbeaten run as the season came to its conclusion. We also picked up massive wins against Canvey Island & Dartford. I don't really know what else to say as our record speaks for itself.
13 WINS, 3 DRAWS, and 5 LOSSES
Our form improved and our position in the league did too. We ended up finishing in 3rd which is an improvement on last seasons final position as well. Eastliegh won the league on the final day and stole the title away from Canvey Island who dominated the league campaign all season. The rest of the teams that join us in the play-offs are Dartford, Brackley, Bromley & St Albans/
In the semi-final of the play-offs we were drawn against Brackley Town who finished two positions lower than us in 5th. We sent them crashing out of the play-offs after a 3-0 victory. Could this year be the year that Enfield Town get promoted to the Vanarama National League?
I'm absolutely gutted! We have been defeated in the final after an 89th-minute winner from Dartford. That's absolutely heartbreaking and it's never an easy way to get beaten in a final. We can definitely be proud of our achievements this season as we improved our league position and our playoff performance. Next year will be the one I'm sure.

Vanarama National League South
I'm frustrated at our performances this season. We've had far too many draws when we should be improving and winning those games. We either can't hold on to the lead when we take it, or grab a late equaliser (which is never a bad thing). I can't be too down though as we are still doing fairly well, it's just that I know we can do a lot better. Anyway, we've had good wins against Wycombe & Havant & Waterlooville who occupy the top two spots in the league so far. On the flip side, we lost to Wellin who are bottom at the halfway stage.
9 WINS, 6 DRAWS, and 5 LOSSES
We're 6th after 21 games, and we sit on 34 points. We are in the playoffs spots but I think we should be aiming either for the league title or the automatic promotion spot. We sit a bit of a way back from the top spot but we are only 7 points back from the automatic spot. It's doable but we need a good run of form to compete for those spots at the top.
FA Cup
We got dealt a cruel draw in the 1st Round of the FA Cup as we drew L2 side Bury away from home. We couldn't really have had a tougher draw but we performed well in our 2-1 defeat. Before this, we beat Corinthian-Casuals, Potters Bar, & St. Albans, all pretty convincingly and bringing some much-needed cash into the clubs coffers. We've consistently made it to the 1st round proper and that's a good achievement for the club.
FA Trophy
We're still in the FA Trophy and have beaten Folkestone in the 3rd Qualifying Round. It did take us two attempts to beat them but we got there eventually. In the next round we've been drawn away at Canvey Island which is a fairly tough draw but one I know we can come out on top in.

Vanarama National League South
We had a pretty productive end to the season and I'm happy with how our league form turned out. The Vanarama South is not an easy league to compete in as there are so many 'good' teams in the division. We had our ups and downs, but more ups thankfully. Luckily, we managed to sneak into the playoffs by finishing in 7th position, by only 1 measly point. That's all that was needed though.
8 WINS, 7 DRAWS, and 6 LOSSES
The playoff schedule was not kind to us, as every team finished above us, but we went against all the odds and somehow (I still don't know how) managed to win the playoffs and get promoted into the Vanarama National League. A tight 1st round matchup against Bognor Regis saw us scrape through 1-0. It was Havent & Waterlooville in the Semi-Final and it took a 92nd-minute winner and hattrick from Greenhalgh to see us safely into the Final. The final was a decent game for us and saw us win 4-2 against Brackley Town. WE ARE UP!!
FA Trophy
The FA Trophy proved to be a decent runout for the lads too. We were very successful in this competition and were unlucky not to make it to the final. A tough Semi-Final draw killed our chances and we went out to Eastliegh after beating Canvey Island, Exeter City, Northampton Town, & Crawley Town on the way to our semi-final defeat.
