Hi everyone,

I've played FM23 about a week now, and I'm very happy with the game in general.

But I'm not happy about the “set pieces” screen you access from tactics. At the moment when I display the “throw in” section,  the CD and RCD are missing! But this is only the case when I display attacking throw ins from the right side, when I switch to the left side, they reappear.

Is this “just” a graphical issue, or is it more serious? Has anyone else experienced this as well?

Regards

Hey @Clorith62

I just saw your reply now.

To answer your question: No, I haven't look “behind” the GK.

This, and the fact that, in 9 times of 10, the only way to handle a player, when he is scouted by another team's manager, DOF or chief scout, is to transferlist him or offer him to the club are major issues for me! Why can't I make a press release and say that the player is not for sale and that he is essential for my future plans? Or why can't I get another player or staff member, who are among his “favorite people” to talk to him?

I have payed every version of the game since FM10, and always with Man U, and every time Real Madrid, Barcelona or PSG “want” one of my players they refuse to negotiate a new contract until the interest in them are gone. So my only option is to wait and hope the offer doesn't come. And when the offer eventually comes it's so low you have to refuse it, which makes both the player and his agent go insane. They don't care about the value, they simply want to move. When you then try to explain that, they go even more insane, and say that you are not in control of their career.

To return to the original issue about the “set pieces” screen, I find this is a returning issue in the series. And when you substitute your set piece taker and the player that comes on switches position with another, for instance RCM and AM, the previous AM now playing RCM now takes the set pieces or the player you have selected as number 2 among the set piece takers does it, but RCM which was the original taker doesn't switch to the new position by itself. Does that make any sense?
