First, I have successfully updated kits. So, it's not THAT problem.

 

You know that teams have at least two kits, and some times three. And maybe for continental cups…

 

If a team doesn't have that third kit created in vanilla game, how can it be added using a mod?

At least for me just trying to UPDATE (the usual way) that third kit fails. It doesn't show up.

It is like “you can't update data that hasn't even been created”. Is this correct? And, how to fix this?

 

The same thing would be with Continental Cup etc. kits - how to add them?

(Kit 3D texture and a config file? And what goes in into that config file? Example?)

 

Is there any differences if a team was created with a mod?

 

And, the other way round, how to get vanilla game third kit to disappear with a mod?

I got a contact with a SI staff member.

 

So, you just can't do these things without the pre-game editor.

There has to be a kit created before it can be updated.

The pre-game editor is available for everyone that has the game. Tick ‘tools' here and this play button if it's not installed yet

Well, I knew that, but for now I have only “visited” there.

 

By the way, do you know any “good” manuals for pre-game editor?

 

When you save there - does it mean ‘the whole database’ or is there an option ‘only changes’?

And how to get those changes to work as a mod in docs>fm23>editor data?
