- Assistant advice panel in matches has been removed as it's no longer part of the default game and was just blank
- Set pieces added to home screen next opponent tab

- Players age has now been turned green on the player profil, just like on the player popup

- REMOVED: Pos-Stats has been removed as it was causing the lag when entering the player profil

- Player profil Kits can now be changed to be seen from the front and as face only (see the SAS24 FAQ)
- The 4 extra panels for Higher resolutions has been removed as they caused problems with the panels below on higher resolutions
- Line between left Menu and Page has been moved to the border.
- I have changed the Panel Selectors ID's in the hopes the panels will start remembering things and not have alzheimers (your panels WILL be a mess 1st time now)
- Non Scouted players and trial players will now have the panels populate as normal
- In match single team passing maps(home and away panel) has been fixed so both no longer only shows the home team.
24th Oct 2023 update

I can confirm, following the instructions, changing the size of the tablet and stopping it at the required size was successful and it works as it should, the new parameters have to be entered in 3 places, I entered exactly the same value in each, I did not even reduce in line 8 by the suggested 5 or 10 and it works. Thanks again for your help

Love using the skin @sasmaz and thanks for your work putting it together - qq, is there a file where I can change the default background opacity? not really a biggie but I always increase it every time i play so would like to change the default value if possible

so I downloaded it but I have still a problem with it. I have the colours and stuff but don't have all the fancy stuff. it is still basic, did I do something wrong or?
playing on Mac and downloaded the Sas24.Jan-v5.fmf.

You need to go into the preferences and untick “used caching for faster loading”
then pick the skin in the dropdown where the skins show up ( yours will say football manager ) then reload the skin
you also might need to use the laptop version, but thats secondary

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think I did what you said and still doesn't have all the fancy stuff like the vid shows.
I also downloaded now the laptop version and removed the other one so I only have the laptop version now.
Is there something else I can do to get it to work or do I just gotta deal with it?

for some reason it doesn't give me that option. when I downloaded some things from this site like a logo pack an so I have put everything under a new map called graphics, and ordened it under a map called logo, skin, kits all that kind of stuff. what I downloaded from you do I have to put that in a other map that belongs to fm24 already? like skins or should it just work?

Yeah thanks for the help but I have done that already. I don't really know what I did wrong, cause everything works except this pack with the fancy stuff. the basics work. maybe it is because I play with my Mac on all low settings otherwise I can't really run the game. I also tried to remove the folder skins from fm24 itself, so only your skin would be there. But unfortunately that also didn't work. If you or someone else know how to fix it let me know.

Like I said I deleted the original skin file and in that skin map I had another map with your skin in it. I delete the map so only your skin would be in it. then I started up my game and put back the original fm skin in it to. Now I can choose your skin and it works. Thanks for everything man!

for the Zip packed skin - 7-zip is free and should do the job, winzip should also do it.
for the fmf files, you need the free steam “Resource archiver” - once extracted it's completely similar to the zip packed.

Amazing skin! But have a question - how can I get rid of the background ? It is my stadium view that disn't appear on other skins. I just want a clear, dark background.

if you have a stadium background pack in your graphics folder, move it outside and you should have the default background color and not a picture
If you in the future want a background of a stadium or something of your choice, read the “how to set up the custom background selector” in the download folder
it's controled by the monitor under the continue button, just click it to see your pictures (if you have it set up) and click it again to get rid of the menu
To have stadiums in the club info page, you need a proper stadium pack and not a stadium background pack

I see myself (my manager) as the background ? whats going on? I cant pick another background either on the background tab beneath the continue button..
after spamming around suddenly the background became black.. I have no idea whats going on haha, this skin is awesome, but the only thing totally broken is the background-feature.
I've now followed the FAQ, added and followed the instruction with backgrounds but yet, everytime I load the game with SAS skin active I see the “change-room view with my manager standing” as the background when the Save is loaded.
I really wish the default background was active constantly and if anyone want to f-around with the background opacity and stuff then go ahead but this breaks the skin for me if I have to change background every time I load the game.

Sounds odd.
But i would untick the “use caching for faster loading” in the preferences
clear the cache (lower left reset dropdown)
reload skin and maybe restart FM.
Also if you have a stadium background folder in the graphics folder, move it outside the graphics folder
and in case you want a stadium picture as background, read the “how to setup the custom background selector” in the download folder

yeah, okey.. I thought it was fixed.. but after restarting the game the transparent background was back.
Something is f-ed with the .fmf i think, must be something in there cause I re-installed the game and still when I picked SAS 24 it broke.
I am currently using another skin which is working absolutely fine without broken background.

Do you have a stadium background folder in your graphics ?
like the mega pack from here or similar as they contain background pictures and the config file in those packs is messing things up.
My skin picks up those as i have the background selector for ppl to customize the backgrounds if they desire
i'm sorry you are having issues, but the skin works fine.
If i were you, i would probably “move” stadium pictures etc (not faces, badges, logo's, kits) out from the graphics folder
then i would do the steps as untick, clear cache and reload skin

Yes, it was the sortitoutsi arena background megapack which messed it all up, when I removed the background arena pack it works.
So how to I make the arena megapack work with the SAS skin?

If the pack is supposed to be background, then you will have to setup the custom background selector and use a few of the pictures
as a pack it's not possible as you've seen.
it's the config file that isnt working with my skin, it will probably work fine for a skin that has background pictures active and has been build for it.

ah I see, thats a shame, since the “default”-image for an arena is emerging-breakingly ugly, the arenas give an added realistic feel. Is there a way to modify so that this config file doesnt override your skin?

A string for pictures in the club info is like this
<record from="1000" to="graphics/pictures/stadium/1000/stadium"/>then you can compare the one you have for the other stuff and see where it's different
the number 1000 is the ID ingame for the club picture

My skin is not “made” for a backgrund picture, thats why i added the custom background selector (the monitor under the continue button)
to use that you would have to setup it up “see - how to setup custom background selector” file in the download folder (see link in a previous comment)
the other place pictures is used is in the club info page and for that you'll have to use the line i pasted for the ppictures from your pack to show,
proper stadium packs already have the correct config file. where stadium background packs have the string that fits for a background
