DF11 mini facepack - some player faces not showing

Does anyone know why I would be getting issues with some player faces not showing after re-loading skin? I have downloaded all DF11 mini face pack updates and copied to the correct folder but have some player faces not showing, I have checked the player ID and can see that the image is in the folder for that player but for some reason as mentioned in game after I re-loaded the skin these player faces are blank. Any advice on this appreciated.
