Thanks SBR, its been superb and that was a great win!
Cadiz C.F - December 2039
Our form continued to rocket upwards and I never thought we'd be unbeaten heading into the winter month of December. To date we've dropped just two points and picked up some fantastic wins along the way, seven nil, eight one and ten nil. Now if we can continue this form we could wrap up the title very, very soon!
Superb month once again, four wins from four and its been a shock as we knock Liga BBVA side Almeria out the Copa del Rey in the fourth round! A superb showing in both legs saw us ease through. We also won both our league games three goals to nil as our strong run of wins continued to tot up this season.
A great kick off to December as we welcomed Liga BBVA side Almeria and shocked them with a superb three one win. Andres fired us into the lead five minutes in whilst Cantero made it two nil after eighteen minutes. We conceded one before the break but when Perotti netted seven minutes into the second half, I knew it was our day!
A trip to Antequera in the league saw us win three nil. Clausi stepped up to the plate and netted twice in the first half whilst Rico struck a minute from time to secure a three nil win.
Back to Copa del Rey action we travelled to Almeria and beat them for a second time in eleven days! Unbelievable stuff. A five two win at their place. Our goals came from Daniel who struck twice, No also struck before the break. Second half Riga netted as well as Chasco as we ran riot. We face Liga BBVA side Levante in the Fifth Round.
We finished the calender year with a three nil win at home against Cartagena. Another strong showing and to end the year so bravely. Meaze netted after two minutes with Riga striking just six minutes later, we led two nil in eight minutes! It ended in the thirty sixth minute as we made it three nil through No.
A superb start to my reign in charge at Cadiz as we have now played twenty league games and have won nineteen of them, drawing the other one as we head into the New Year unbeaten and thirteen points clear of second place Real Betis B as we continue to run away with things. We've only conceded ten goals in our twenty league games whilst netting a superb seventy two times. On top of all of this we also have our excellent Copa del Rey cup run as we head into the Fifth Round next month.

Cadiz C.F - January 2040
Happy New Year! We go into a New one, 2040 it is! A long wy into the future now and still enjoying this career just as much. Life at Cadiz during the first half of the season has been easy but enjoyable thats for sure. Now I look to replicate that form throughout the second half of the season, we were also still battling away in the Copa del Rey, not that we need to win it but our run goes on into January...
A massive month saw us end up facing eight games in January, no rest for the wicked thats for sure, you will notice the red dot, my first defeat in charge of Cadiz has come but it was in the Copa del Rey so expected. After knocking out Liga BBVA side Almeria we faced their fellow top tier side Levante who we also beat and then went on to beat another top tier side in Mallorca in the Quarter Finals on away goals.
The New Year began with us welcoming Liga BBVA side Levante and beating them two one at home. Riga netted a third minute penalty to take us into the lead. We conceded just before the break whilst an own goal eight minutes after the restart went on to secure a first leg win here.
Another two dropped points in the league as we drew nil nil with Merida A.D. Boring game in truth and replicated on the scoreline.
Back to Copa del Rey action and we travelled to Levante who we beat four two. Topsy turvey game, we went behind before Cantero struck and Chasco sent us two one up at the break. The top tier side pulled one back before Cantero secured a second and Riga put the game beyond doubt, sending us into the Quarter Finals against Mallorca!
Once again we returned to league action and returned to winning ways in the legaue as we welcomed Marbella and won six four in this ten goal thriller. Only four goals we conceded in the league this month. Daniel and Meaza both struck two goals each whilst Andres and Clausi had a goal each.
My first defeat in charge of Cadiz came as we travelled to Liga BBVA side Mallorca in the Copa del Rey. A close game saw us just unable to cope with the top tier side. They led two nil at the break and maybe took their foot off the pedal Daniel pulled one back for us to give us what would turn out to be a vital away goal.
A trip to Conquense in the league saw us win one nil, Riga' goal on the twenty eighth minute enough to send us through.
We then welcomed Mallorca for the second leg of the Copa del Rey Quarter Finals and produced a third 'cupset' on the bounce as Cifuentes goal on the fifty fourth minute guided us to a one nil win and a two all aggregate score with us heading through on aggregate. The Semi Final will see us face Valencia where I imagine we will finally crash out, I was hoping for a tie with one of the other Semi Finals in Atletico Madrid!
The month ended with a third clean sheet on the bounce as we beat Linense two nil. Both goals came early into the game as No struck inside the opening minute and Meaza netted in the ninth minute.
Twenty four of the thirty eight games in the league have now been played this season come the end of January and we sit an amazing sixteen points clear as we remain unbeaten in the league to date. Real Betis B continue their hunt for promotion, sitting second place and just a point clear of Cartagena.

Cadiz C.F - February 2040
So we did take our form into the New Year and produced a stunning showing in January which saw us remain unbeaten in the league as well as knock not one more but two more Liga BBVA sides out the Copa del Rey, not quite sure how we are on this run but I'm making every moment of it worthwhile. We faced Valencia in the cup this month as well as a handful of league games.
And so our Copa del Rey run comes to an end but I didn't expect anything less against a top, top side like Valencia as they beat us in both the home and away legs. Our league form remains perfect though as we picked up another four wins from four games in February and kept another three clean sheets, conceding just twice again.
The month started at home with us welcoming Valencia and they easily dispatched s here as expected with their quality really showing as they won three nil.
We welcomed Granada B and beat them by the scoreline we just got beat by, a three nil win. Daniel once again on the scoresheet as he struck twice whilst Meaza also netted to help guide us to the win.
A trip to Valencia for the second leg of the Copa del Rey saw us score this time but lose out four two on the night. We gave it a good go, our two goals came from No as he struck twice in ten minutes in the second half.
Staying on the road we faced Lucena and beat them three two, the only two goals we conceded in the league this month. Daniel and Romano sent us two nil up in twenty five minutes, we conceded either side of the break as it went two all before Riga netted a spot kick.
A trip to Sevilla Atletico saw us back to keeping a clean sheet as we left it late to wrap up the win. Romano netting for a second game running and the winner just five minutes from time.
We ended the month back at home, welcoming Lanzarote who we beat two nil. Riga converted a spot kick after sixteen minutes whilst No netted a minute into injury time to seal a two nil win.
And so a playoff spot is the minimum that we have now secured this season as we have just ten league games remaining and sit nineteen points clear of our new second place side Cartagena. Real Betis B slip down to third place now whilst Mellila occupy the third and final playoff spot currently.

Cadiz C.F - March 2040
Into March and it would be the penultimate full month of the season. As we are now out the Copa del Rey we had just the league to play for and a playoff spot was already secured. We were just a few wins away from securing promotion and the top spot now it would seem. March threw us five games, would this unbeaten league run continue?
Yes, we remained unbeaten once again as the five games in March saw us win the first four and end the month with a three all draw. Delighted our form has continued and we are now so close to finishing the league season unbeaten, back to this month, three more clean sheets from the five games we faced this month.
March began with a trip to La Hoya who we beat two nil. We weren't at our best here by far but done well. No netted two minutes before the break whilst Riga struck with half an hour remaining to secure the win.
At home we welcomed San Fernando and beat them convincingly four goals to none. Daniel netted after thirty seconds to get the game running whilst Velez doubled our lead thirteen minutes before the break. Second half Romano struck before No netted in the final minute of the game.
A trip to Algeciras saw us beat them four two. We trailed two nil in half an hour and were very poor but turned it around. No netted before the break before Meaza brought us back on level terms ten minutes after the restart. Romano netted nine minutes from time, taking us into the lead before No put it beyond doubt three minutes from time.
Champions! And what a team to secure it against! Back at home we welcomed Real Betis B, this time it wasn't another eight one win over them but a convincing four nil victory. We were superb netting four for a third game running. Riga struck twice, his first three minutes before the break from the spot whilst Daniel netted on the stroke of half time. Andres sent us three up before Riga bagged his second in the final minute.
Then came a three all draw with Cacereno. Not really sure what went on here, our defence was rather leaky which has been unlike us this season. No netted after nine minutes, Riga struck another penalty whilst Meaza netted ten minutes before the break.
Champions and promotion secured as we sit seventeen points clear from second place side Cartagena who now have a playoff spot secured for the end of the season. Real Betis B still sit in with a chance of finishing second but its unlikely now. We have just five games left this season to try and remain unbeaten, it would be a great feat if we can do it!

Cadiz C.F - April/May 2040
The final month of the league season was here and we faced the final five games of the league season. We'd learn this month that promotion isn't quite secured yet despite being crowned champions of the league. We still were in the hunt for an unbeaten league season, could we actually go on and do it? Final five league games here.
Yes! We've done it! The unbeaten season, near perfect too! The final month of the season was pretty perfect for us too as we played five games, won five games and went on to keep four clean sheets! A superb ending to our league season.
We began at home welcoming Jerez who we beat four nil this time around. No and Chasco were the chaps to get the goals here, they both grabbed a brace with them both netting a goal in each half.
Another win and clean sheet came as we travelled to San Roque Lepe who we beat three nil. No struck after just nine minutes for the second game running. Chasco and Velez netted in the second half.
An eight goal game as we travelled to Melilla and beat them five three. Riga netted our first goal after wer were one down, converting from the spot. No and then an own goal sent us three one up at the break. Second half Rodriguez sent us four one up before we conceded twice and then a Chasco penalty secured the big win.
We'd end the month with two home wins, first we welcomed Ecija who we beat two nil, No and Velez netting.
And to end the season a superb four nil win over Antequera. No netted another two goals, both in the first half as he took his tally to seven goals in five games this month alone. Riga and Velez both struck in the second half.
The league season is all done and dusted and having played thirty eight games we've gone on to win thirty five and draw three games, meaning we remained unbeaten all season and secured a new records point tally. This season was amazing, we also went on to net one hundred and twenty five times whilst conceding just twenty four times. We won the league by twenty two points!
So apparently promotion isn't yet secured. We now face a double header with Zaragoza in the Semi Final of the playoffs. Past fixtures have seen these two teams play twice and win one each, its sure to be a tough game but I'm hoping we'll have enough about us here.

Cadiz C.F - Segunda B Playoffs 2040
Here was the last bit of football we'd go on to play this season, the Segunda B Playoffs. I didn't know much about this until last month. We now try to secure promotion to the second tier of Spanish football with a double header against Zaragoza first and then if we win a double header of a final.
And so we kept that fine form and win the Semi Final as well as the Final! We beat Zaragoza in the Semi Finals in both legs. We won the home leg four one, Riga, Meaza, Clausi and Andres sending us to the first leg win whilst we won two one away from home as No and Chasco both netted to guide us to the final.
We welcomed Albacete for the first leg of the Final. Chasco netted the only goal of the first leg, twelve minutes after the restart whilst travelling for the second leg we drew one a piece. Meaza saw us go one up three minutes before the break. We conceded in the second half.
Done and Dusted...

Goodbye Cadiz C.F - 3rd July 2040
So as the title suggest, my time at Cadiz would prove to be up in June. It was an enjoyable year in charge here at Cadiz but all good things have to come to an end I suppose.
In the end I was given an ultimatum by the board. I thought we could do alright this season but with a load of key players leaving on free transfers this year, it seemed like it could prove to be dead end, I went on to apply for a couple vacancies which the board didn't like so they booted me for it. (Unfortunately I didn't get a screenshot of my statistics in charge of Cadiz)
And welcome to the new team! Granada, a good choice of sides, they are in the Liga Adelante and were last season as well, they finished third but lost out in the playoff finals which saw them fall short of expectations of promotion, meaning its now my turn to try and send them back to the top tier this season!

Granada - Pre Season Round Up 2040
Here it is, the summer has come and gone and its been a good one if I do say so myself. It was a tough decision on leaving Cadiz and taking the Granada job but so far the summer is proving its the right move, I hope Cadiz do well but my attention this season is on winning promotion to Liga BBVA.
A massive squad here after the transfer window, I didn't spend a penny bringing players in, just relied on free transfers and loan deals but I feel we have a very strong squad and a great chance of winning promotion if not the league title itself! Plenty of quality throughout the squad.
A perfect pre season for us which I'm a little surprised about with a new manager, new tactics and that fact we faced and beat Werder Bremen. Eight wins from eight and ending pre season with four clean sheets on the bounce, bring on the season!

Granada - August/September 2040
We flew into the opening month of the season and had just two games so I thought I'd twin the update in with September as well, our first full month of action. I won't be doing a match to match report on this update as there are so many games and honestly I just want to continue playing, but a busy month it was.
A very good start in the league for us as we have gone on to win six of our opening seven league games, drawing the final one in August. Disappointed we've only kept two clean sheets so far in the league but delighted we got such a convincing win over Sporting at home. We are yet to face former side Cadiz. Whilst our Copa del Rey run never got started, losing out in the second round as we lost to fellow Liga Adelante side Espanyol who were relegated last season.
No breathing space at the top just yet, despite remaining unbeaten it seems a lot of other sides have started the season almost as good as us with as the top five teams in the league are currently unbeaten.

Granada - October 2040
Our league season has started very well, whilst I disappointed the board with the early cup exit I was hoping I could win the board and fans back over with a pleasing run in the league and hopefully we'd go on to secure promotion and the top spot would be even sweeter, October was a short month due to international fixtures.
Not a bad month for us as we faced just four league games throughout the month of October mainly due to postponements due to international fixtures. We went on to win three and lose the final game of the month, not a clean sheet was kept though.
We began by welcoming Racing who we beat two one. Pulido netted just after the half hour mark before Aguilera sent us two up with twenty minutes remaining. We ended up conceding a late consolation goal.
A decent win came as we welcomed Huesca and beat them five two. Our goals came from Aguilera, Mainz and Pulido before the break whilst Fileppi and Sami both found the target in the second half.
A trip to Mirandes saw us come out three one winners after going one down. Agulera struck three minutes before the break to bring us on level terms, we left it late to wrap up the points, Pulido netting nine minutes from time whilst Aguilera struck a second for himself in injury time.
Shocking performance away at Jaen as we lost two one. Pulido netted late on after we were two down.
Top of the table and a point clear of the rest of the pack. Its extremely close after the opening eleven games and with the three teams sitting directly behind us still unbeaten, its sure proving to be a tough season this year, we need to improve a little and keep picking up points against the lesser sides!

Granada - November 2040
The penultimate month of another calender year was upon us as we headed in to a rather quiet November here in Spain. I've thoroughly enjoyed the last three or four years I've spent in Spain thats for sure and it would be a fitting way to end with another league title, although I think I still have to come back at some point.
We played a few of the bigger teams in the division this month so to remain unbeaten is very pleasing, picking up three wins and a draw. We need to ensure we keep this run of results going and not get caught out as the league is very close still.
Superb way to start the season with a four one win at home as we welcomed Valladolid. Grinby gave us the lead before an own goal sent us two up in twenty one minutes. Mainz netted either side of the break before the travelling side pulled back a consolation goal.
A trip to Malaga saw us come out three one winners. We went behind before Agulera netted one in the first half followed by two second half goals as he stole the show netting a hatrick.
A draw against Espanyol away form home is very pleasing. Aguilera once again netted our goal whilst the host netted nine minutes from time to steal a point.
We ended the month by welcoming Hercules who we beat two one. Aguilera again netted both our goals as he wrapped up a superb month.
Fifteen games in and the league remains very, very tight. We sit just three points clear of second place side Rayo who I believe we are yet to play to date. Espanyol sit just seven points behind us in third place as well. Rayo are also the only unbeaten side left this season in the league.

Anyway enough about my poor memory today for some reason, another good unbeaten month done and dusted, sitting top of the table and things are looking rosy although you've only got a three point lead. KIU though.

Granada - December 2040
Into the final month of the calender year, the festive, wintery month of December and another spent in Spain. Its been a great calender year for myself and the respective two clubs I've been at throughout the last twelve months, now I just wanted to end with a superb December and try to open a gap at the top of the pile.
Yes, the winter month seemed to suit the Granada players as we went and produced four wins from four games and kept three clean sheets this month, more than we've kept all season I believe. Superb wins against Athletic and Zaragoza whilst I also faced former side Cadiz who we beat convincingly.
The month kicked off with us welcoming Corodoba where we struck a brilliant two nil win. Aguilera netted three minutes from the break before an own goal with half an hour to go helped secure the win.
Welcoming Athletic I was expecting a tough game, but we went on to steal the points late on. A goal by Ginnby in the first of three minutes of injury time secured the win.
A trip to Zaragoza saw us concede our first and only goal of December during a three one win. We trailed one nil at the break. Second half we pulled it back though. Cabral netting our equaliser before Aguilera and Fileppi sent us on the way to the win.
We ended the month and calender year fittingly really. We welcomed former side Cadiz who I was in charge of up to this summer, as I said, a fitting way to end the year. Aguilera netted first for us before Fileppi made it two nil six minutes before the break. The last two goals were a little hard on Cadiz as they came late on with Odnesveen and Valbuena netting within a minute of each other.
Approaching half the league games played now this season and its looking good for us as we head into the New Year. We now sit a good six points clear of second place Rayo who have now lost. Espanyol in third are a further eight points behind Rayo so we both have more than enough breathing space at the top of the pile.
